Visesa Ubud Villa and Resort

Grounds were beautiful. Breakfast was excellent. Staff was excellent

For the cost of the 2 bedroom suite, it was a little dated and showed wear. Tile in bathroom area stained and worn. Some electrical outlets were worn.

Really peaceful and picturesque resort with amazing rooms and facilities. The staff is excellent, and are always ready to help you with a smile, I can't emphasize enough how great they are!

Sometimes there were insects & frogs at night. Not a show stopper, but we were ok with it, as we chose to stay in such a place which is close to a lot of greenery

Located within rice fields and surrounded by jungle yet 15 minutes from a city. The facility and staff outstanding.

Good landscaping

I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of this hotel. The bedding had an unpleasant odor, and there were constant flies in the room. Even the towels smelled bad. Overall, the hygiene was poor and not up to the standard expected of a five-star hotel. The breakfast was also below expectations in terms of quality.

The beautiful scenery, with all the trees and natural surroundings, was amazing. The staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. I also really enjoyed the Indonesian restaurant. Overall, the warm service really stood out.

The buffet, especially the breakfast, was very disappointing, there were hardly any options available. On top of that, the cleanliness of the property was a serious issue. The rooms were not well maintained, with noticeable dust and a general lack of care in how they were put together.

Resort is in a beautiful setting, surrounded by pretty rice paddy’s. We had the royal river view valley suite. Spacious and luxurious. The onsite restaurants are both very good. But the staff excel at the Visesa Ubud. Super attentive, always ready to go the extra mile and with such gorgeous friendly smiles. Great place to stay. Highly recommend.

The place was amazing. The 4 of us stayied for 4 nights (3adults+1child). Rooms are clean but we had ants in bed and bathroom all around + the sink leaked(wasn’t connected to the drain but we called reception and they have send someone very quick.). Breakfast was amazing and the stuff was really friendly.

One of the best experiences in Bali. We had booked a two bedroom lagoon villa with pool. Stay was super comfortable and memorable. The staff was super helpful, courteous and always with a big smile. Food was average but the experience made it all the trouble we took to check in late at night. Highly recommended to anyone travelling with family.

Booked 2 rooms villa for family but it was not inter connected..Breakfast was not good ..not much options ..also milk for corn flakes was spoiled ..Reception Staff was not very welcoming..

Location was not walkable into town. Could hear people in next villa over the bathroom wall.

I had a Jungle View Room. The room were very comfortable, so were the bed. What I like to commend was the staff friendliness. The resort facilities, pool, etc. I really love the lush greenery around the resort and it's peaceful environment. Visesa Resort exceeded my expectation and imagination.

On arrival we were blown away. It is quite breathtaking and you really feel like you’ve arrived at a palace! The grounds are lush and immaculate. The pool is exquisite and huge! The lunch at Lesung was delicious. The staff are very friendly indeed. Had a fabulous facial and pedicure which I can highly recommend.

Our villa did not live up to the photos. Most particularly the jacuzzi that we were so looking forward to. In the photos it looked beautiful, a round sunken jacuzzi surrounded by dark decking with a stepped seating setting. In reality it was just a jacuzzi bath behind a concrete pillar. The room is a little tired looking and sometimes inconvenient such as bedside lamps that have no switches and have to be unplugged. Also I had booked spa services well in advance but I had to chase for confirmation.

The design of the property is fantastic.The pool and reception area are impressive. Looking out over rice padis at mealtimes was so relaxing. The staff were exceptional, especially Mahendra who genuinely worked constructively with us when we had an issue with our credit cards. I recommend you always opt to let any resort in Indonesia to take a deposit upon checkin. We discovered our problem arose the night daylight saving commenced in New Zealand and the 2 countries banking systems were ‘out of sync’. This caused real stress. Do not miss the Balinese dancing. The shuttle into UBUD was really helpful especially now they have to detour around a landslide caused by heavy rains. We loved being in and around Ubud and enjoyed it much more than the beachside areas.

The in-house boutique stocked beautiful garments but I wonder if some cheaper but good quality items could be added to achieve wider appeal.

The lobby was very beautiful and the grounds makes you feel like you’re living on farm or a plantation. They pool is beauty and very picturesque. The staff is super friendly and very welcoming. They has many activities to help you understand the local traditions.

The room needs better lighting.

It was expensive and also very less staff work for spa therefore there was no availability almost everyday.
