Kappa Senses Ubud

Lovely hotel. Stayed in Villa 100 overlooking the rice paddies, near the main restaurant. Lots of privacy. The pool was used every day, rain or shine. Small but perfect for cooling off. Lots of sunshine 10am-2pm. Great deck area to sunbathe around the pool - non-slip. Table and seating outside. Room was great. Large bathroom with shower and bath, good wifi, vanity area, TV, coffee machine, plenty of closet space. Very clean. Excellent service. Extensive breakfast buffet.

In-room dining options were a bit limited.

Everything was excellent from staff , services , restaurants, cleanliness, scheduled activities even. Staff are so friendly and kind. You will be immersed in the Balinese culture and experience there rituals and daily routines. Also not to mention they have a shuttle to ubud center which had ease the transportation from and to the resort.

Kappa Senses Ubud is truly a gem, we loved everything about it! It has a great location, spacious and beautiful rooms and truly the most lovely staff, everything and everyone was extremely kind and wonderful and truly made us feel welcomed and at home. ☺️ The daily breakfast spread was wonderful too, with a variety of selection. Their in house restaurant Kokokan offers fine dining French cuisine, and honestly it is delicious despite the higher price tag. We highly recommend staying with Kappa Senses, we will definitely be back again next time in Ubud! Thank you ? ☺️

The resort was absolutely stunning and such a wonderful place to stay. A convenient shuttle service makes it easy to get into Ubud Centre, which was a great bonus. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide variety that catered to every taste. Most of all, the staff truly made the experience unforgettable—Puspa, Lopez, and Ari were incredibly warm and kind, as was the entire team.

Awesome new hotel in a really good area. I loved the breakfast food variety, great coffee, gorgeous premises, services and kind personnel.

There were 2 nights when the smell of burned fields was too much, even with closed balcony. I run the fact that the bathroom is open concept did not help with that particular issue. I realize this if not the hotel's fault, but it is a bit miserable to have to breathe such bad air a whole night.

My family and I arrived at this hotel after spending three nights in another hotel (also in Ubud area). The hotels were of similar apparent quality and we changed simply because we wanted to change from the a "jungle location" to a "rice field" location. However, the reality was that the Kapa Senses was actually far better than where we were. Service was outstanding and the overall condition of the rooms and facilities was amazing. All staff were super friendly and really made sure our stay was seamless and pleasurable. They gave us an upgrade so that our room was adjacent to our childrens room and additionally we left a mouth guard behind and they took care of sending this on to our next location. Overall Outstanding!

Kappa Senses is the perfect place to stay in Bali. We really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and great amenities - lovely pools and restaurants. The breakfast buffet and evening meals were delicious every day. All the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. The daily activities were very interesting and fun and we learned a lot about Bali culture from staff who were knowledgeable and kind. It is easy to get to Ubud on the free shuttle but we were happy to just enjoy the natural calm of the hotel. We are very happy that we chose to stay there.

I had an amazing stay at kappa senses. The service was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, and their kindness really stood out when my friend had an injury during our trip (outside of hotel). They were incredibly helpful, offering assistance and ensuring we had everything we needed. The rooms were spotless, the amenities were top-notch, and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming

We had the most incredible stay at Kappa Senses. The staff were exceptional, and incredibly kind to our daughter. Facilities and room were as good as you’d expect and the food was delicious. Would stay forever if we could.

The rooms are spacious, bright, and offer all the comforts needed for a perfect stay.Other element that truly stood out was the exceptional quality of the food. Every meal was a delightful explosion of flavors. The breakfast, in particular, was a feast of Balinese and international delights, perfect for starting the day on the right note. The hotel's restaurant is undoubtedly one of the best I've had the pleasure of dining at.Last but not least, the staff is simply extraordinary. Always smiling, ready to assist, and going above and beyond to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Their kindness and professionalism truly made all the difference. The resort is absolute perfection. Every staff member warmly greets you and wishes you a pleasant stay. Upon check-in, I was offered two complimentary homemade juices—a thoughtful touch. My suite featured breathtaking views of both the jungle and rice fields, creating a serene atmosphere. The rooms are cleaned twice daily, and complimentary fruit is provided. The resort has two swimming pools, but my favorite was the jungle pool. Exceptionally long and nestled within lush greenery, it even had a small waterfall, making it the perfect spot for my daily swim practice. The breakfast buffet was truly exceptional—one of the best I’ve ever had. A perfect 10 out of 10. It offered an incredible variety, from sweet to savory, with both Western and Asian dishes, hot and cold options, an assortment of breads and pastries, and even cakes. There were plenty of vegan and vegetarian choices, a juicer for fresh-made fruit juice, and a coffee bar that also served iced coffee. Devi, a staff member, recognized my name when she saw me and remembered my food preferences, which was truly heartwarming. The highlight of my stay was the peacefulness of the room. As someone who suffers from insomnia and wakes up at the slightest noise, I truly appreciated the complete silence. For the first time, I could fall asleep relaxed, without worrying about being disturbed by noise pollution—an absolute dream come true!

The property was fabulous and everything they provided was above expectations. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful as well as the room was very clean as they clean it twice a day . The staff are well managed with friendly atmosphere. It worths to travel all this long destination to them .

Excellent clean calm oasis 20 minutes out of busy Ubud. Welcoming staff. Clean well maintained property amongst the gorgeous rice fields. Excellent breakfast and poolside dining. Suyasa at the front desk was most accommodating with our needs ! Will definitely return for some rest and leisure.

The staff and service were amazing. Everyone greets you either a smile and accomodate all our needs. Food was high quality, fresh and cocktails were delicious.Spa was also very good - great massage and setting with a view.

Really nice place to relax. Lot of interesting activities and the staff was really nice. Specially Tyra. They knew we were on our honeymoon and upgraded us to a better suite.

The staff were super welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. We couldn't say enough good things about the entire Kappa Senses crew during our 3-night visit.Breakfast was a standout, with an awesome mix of Indonesian and Western dishes and tons of options. We were excited to see what was on the menu each morning!The on-site restaurants were also fantastic, offering a huge variety of delicious food.We spent most of our time chilling by our private pool and the main resort pool, having a great time and already looking forward to coming back.The Omtara Spa by Clarins was amazing. If you're thinking about going, definitely treat yourself to one of the packages – it's totally worth it!

This isn't a complaint at all, just a suggestion to enhance the in-villa experience. The daily delivery of 6 x 330ml bottles of water is always appreciated. However, I think installing a larger bottled water system in the villa could help reduce waste. In the next place we stayed at, our villa had a 10-litre bottle with a dispenser, which was a great idea for guests who can't drink the tap water.

I stayed at Kappa Senses with 2 of my friends. On arrival they provided us with warm towels and a welcome drink. To our surprise, they upgraded our room to the jungle suite with the jacuzzi which we loved! The room exceeded our expectations (very spacious, clean and practical) and we were able to communicate with the staff easily through phone call or whatsapp. The staff we kind enough to give us a buggy ride when we got lost on the first day! We loved the buffet breakfast, the complementary photo provided by the photographer, gym and in-room dining options. We were also offered late checkout to 5pm since we had a red-eye flight back home. We loved our stay and would defintiely stay with Kappa Senses again!

Beautifully appointed resort. The rooms were lovely, clean and spacious. Breakfast was amazing and the staff were all so wonderful. It was the perfect resort for our honeymoon. The Daily activities were also a fun option for days you didn't want to leave the resort. We will be back.

I wish there was french fries on the snack/room service menu. That is my only complaint ?
