    Cons -

    • Young staff and no since of responsibility. The place was full of mosquitoes and geckos, when I checked in i found 4 geckos in the room and i asked to change the room immediately. Food quality was very low and our request wasn’t proper responded.
    • Upon arrival, I was assigned a villa that was completely exposed to the restaurant area, where all guests seated at the restaurant had a direct view of the villa and the private pool. This resulted in constant disturbance and a serious violation of privacy. Additionally, the actual condition and layout of the villa did not match the photos and description displayed on Booking.com, which is misleading.I would like to emphasize that I am on my honeymoon, and I had clearly requested privacy in advance from the resort prior to arrival. When I raised this issue on-site and asked to change the villa, I was informed that this was not possible.
    • Some of that very hot water from the jakuzzi beside the main pool better be used for Villas pools ?

Our Villa was simple perfect, with jacuzzi heated pool and beautiful view of the river and waterfall. Was the best Villa of the resort and we did massage in the spa.

Beside the resort they where building, so it was a bit noisy and the restaurant part with pool we did'nt use it, also because we ordered breakfast and meal directly in the room.

exceptional villas, modern and clean. staff are great and helpful. breakfast is good.

For those who like to sleep with geckos in the villa this resort is for you as the villa has gaps in the roof that let's in geckos. it has too many stairs to climb going up/down to the restaurant and pool area. the food at the bar wasnt up to standard as it caused me ameoba from eating dodgy lamb chops however the resort agreed to pay for medical bill for compensation.

We came as a couple to celebrate our honeymoon, and I have to say everything was absolutely perfect — far beyond our expectations.Beyond the beauty of the hotel itself, the service from the staff was truly amazing. They surprised us with a flower-filled bath in our room, which was such a lovely and thoughtful gesture. We also joined a yoga class led by Putu, who not only shared his deep knowledge of yoga but also kindly offered to take photos for us, we left the class feeling so energized and connected. As vegans, we were deeply touched that the chef prepared a special vegan menu just for us. Every meal was delicious and carefully made.Highly, highly recommended

There were some renovations going on at a nearby hotel, but the team was very considerate and placed us in a room further away, so it didn’t really disturb us at all.

The room.was nice and staff were friendly. Food was also tasty

Tons of stairs. Thats not mentioned anywhere so anyone with any kind of mobility issues will have a difficult time navigating to their rooms.Advertised was also not the room i was given, I had no view of the waterfall or any view for that matter.

    The room is comfortable

The pool is really cold and no heater for it , the breakfast not well and no many options

Very cozy room, we had the room with the waterfall view and the sound of the waterfall was the best white noise I’ve experienced :) the staff is very kind and always willing to help. The location is close to city center (10 mins if no traffic).

    9AileenPosted on: 8-8-2025

It’s seclusion, the heated pool and waterfall view the staff but especially the spa ladies giving my daughter and I massages as I listened to the sound of nature, and our (1) favorite server who was so pleasant, that we ended up asking him for his recommendations on what to order, and finally the property’s manager who allowed us to stay in our One Bedroom Presidental Villa with Waterfall View, Heated Pool and Private Jacuzzi until 2:00pm which was so kind of them, since we had a late flight. If you want to escape to nature surrounding yourself with pure bliss this is the place to visit you will never forget it, as I intend to make my way back here again

    Not much worth mentioning

    10HeshamPosted on: 7-19-2025

Everything was perfect , the staff is so professional polite and kind , the location is combine between the nature and being near to Ubud, massage was great and the yoga classes with Putu was such a wonderful experience

The Sebali Resort is a breathtaking jungle retreat that exceeded all expectations. The villas were stunning and immersed in nature, offering complete privacy and serenity. The staff went above and beyond with their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail. The private pool, lush surroundings, and excellent in-room breakfast made this a truly magical escape.

Nothing at all — everything was flawless.

The hotel facilities were pretty good. The restaurant food was good but I am not a fan of indonesian food which is just a personal opinion. Staff was super nice and helpful. Honestly it is a quite cozy place with nice vibes and the jacuzzi breakfast was quite nice, nothing outstanding. Atmosphere at night felt nice and there were activities like live music and performances. The room was very clean and the shower had nice warm water. Staff cleaned the room everyday and they were super polite nice and friendly.

Pool in the room was ICE!! Cold, i think you can actually get hypothermia from staying there too long. We had to ask to turn off the pump so the water would heat up a little but after 2 days the water felt… dirty. We staid in room 902 which was quite far from the entrance so be ready for a hike every morning. Location is alright but there is absolutely nothing around but it is very quite at night, it is like 30min drive from main ubud street during rush hours. If you like to have a walk at night around stores and restaurants maybe this is not the place for you, but if you like quite and isolated places you will love this place.

I had a great experience during my stay at The Sebali Resort! The staff were absolutely fantastic – warm, attentive, and always ready to help with anything I needed. My villa had a breathtaking view of the waterfall – 10/10. Waking up to the sound of cascading water and the serene jungle surroundings was one of the highlights of my stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, though I think a little extra deep cleaning (maybe just a bit more bleach) could enhance the overall feel. I’d rate the rooms an 8/10.The restaurant was incredible – the food was delicious (10/10), and I really appreciated the variety of local Balinese dishes on the menu. It gave the dining experience an authentic and flavorful touch. The resort’s location is ideal, with easy access to Ubud’s main attractions. They offer a free shuttle to the Ubud centre, and I also did a custom sightseeing excursion. My guide, Hendra, was exceptional – professional, friendly, and full of local insight.A lovely touch was the complimentary photoshoot to capture special moments around the resort. Just a heads-up: confirm any costs upfront in case you decide to go beyond the basic offering – lesson learned… haha!Overall, The Sebali Resort was a wonderful place to unwind and soak in the beauty of Ubud. I’d highly recommend it for a peaceful, scenic, and culturally rich stay.

The spa was a bit underwhelming, and didn’t quite match the quality of the other facilities. The yoga session was enjoyable, though I did feel the instructor focused more on other guests, which made the experience feel a bit uneven.

    10Cristian-AlexandruPosted on: 5-6-2025

We can really recommend the resort. It has great staff, always ready to help. The hotel is located in a quiet area where you can really enjoy the Ubud jungle vibe. We really enjoyed our stay here. They also organize customized trips with their private drivers and they were really great guides and provided a lot of insight into Balinese culture (highly recommended). The hotel restaurant has great food and drinks with a decent variety for you to choose from.

If I really have to choose a negative, the in-house spa provides a great massage, but it is quite short in duration for the charged price compared to other spas in Ubud.

My husband and I have just returned home from 3 nights at the Sebali Resort. From the moment we arrived we were taken care of, and the property itself is absolutely beautiful. The food, day spa and facilities all exceeded our expectations, however it is the staff who truly make this a memorable stay. From the security staff at the gate, to the check-in staff, cleaners and restaurant staff, all were happy to help and incredibly pleasant and welcoming. Special mention to Deka for the wonderful massage.Thank you for our lovely stay.

My only criticism is the noise from renovations at the property next door. I wish this had been communicated to us before our arrival.
