Excellent staff that goes extra miles to make stay comfortable and memorable. They pay attention to small details, for example they had umbrellas for guests in rainy season which I didn’t see even in more expensive hotels.

We really, really, really liked this hotel. It’s a very quiet place. Only —4 kilometers—from Ubud. That means it’s quite close if you want to visit Ubud. But at the same time, it’s much, much quieter here than in Ubud. Of course, you can hear some vehicles on the road, but not like in Ubud. It’s a very peaceful place.We really liked the pool. It was very clean and large. And since we were here with two kids, we had two rooms that were connected. There was plenty of space. Everything was very clean. And we really liked the bed. There was also a bathroom—two bathrooms, actually—one with a shower, and one with a shower and a bathtub.We really liked it. The coffee was very tasty. Breakfast was served until 11 a.m., which is quite rare. That’s also a big plus. A simple, beautiful, green area.The only thing that could be improved is the restaurant on the second floor. It’s a bit dusty. That’s understandable, but it could be a bit cleaner.However, it’s a really, really great place. I highly recommend it.

I enjoyed every minute of my stay here, the place is a hidden gem a bit further from the centre but not too far. Room was always cleaned and the staff is extremely attentive and helpful, they were super welcoming. I briefly mentioned that I am celebrating my birthday and they surprised me with a cake and sang for me during breakfast. They also decorated my room while I was away, they made my birthday memorable. Thank you so much.❤️About the amenities, I got fresh towels and the room was cleaned every day, there was a bit mold on the ceiling but considering the humidity it is general. The breakfast was delicious as well as the dinner options were satisfying. There is water at the lounge for refill and they give mosquito spray as well. The temperature of the pool was also nice, it wasn’t cold. All in all for me this was a great and memorable stay!

I am a light sleeper and the walls are quite thin, I could hear everything but usually the other guests went to sleep same time as me, so it wasn’t bothering during the night. Make sure you bring earplugs.

Everything was awesome. Nice and cozy. Perfect for up to 5 nights. Staff are amazing and helpfull. The restaurant also offers a decent variety from Breakfast to Dinner.

Located slightly out of Ubud Centre, but only a 5 minute Grab ride. They also rent out scooters for cheap.

A wonderful place to stay! The property is stunning — clean, beautifully maintained, with a warm pool that lights up beautifully in the evening. The staff is very kind, caring, polite, and always ready to help. The location is about 13 minutes from the center by scooter, but the road to get there is scenic and actually added to the experience. The room was spacious, bright, and comfortable, with a large bathroom and shower. The bed was cozy, and the sheets were clean. Daily housekeeping was a nice touch.

As for the downsides: the walls are quite thin, so you can hear voices from outside. It wasn’t clear where the sounds were coming from — it felt like they were from the neighboring villa. Also, there were a lot of ants, but since the room was cleaned often, it wasn’t a big issue. Occasionally, they could be seen in the bed, but that’s likely just part of the Bali experience.Overall, everything was lovely, and I truly enjoyed my stay.

This place is one of the best we could imagine in Ubud area in Bali.First and the most important is the staff - everyday extremely nice, kind and helpful. Very very nice to our children, always smiling and ready to help and talk. All of them - lady and mens.Rooms are very spacious and very clean - we had an option with two rooms connected (2 adults + 2 children) and that was very good and comfortable.Food, during breakfast and dinner was very fresh and tasty. We never had to wait so long for that. While waiting children enjoyed feeding the fish :)Before coming here we were a little afraid about location but finally in my opinion being 10min from Ubud (only 3-4$ by grab one way) is much better than staying in crowded and loud city of Ubud.I would like to thank again for great hospitality of all the staff members.I wish to come again to d'kamala one day.

d’kamala by Prasi is a beautiful little hotel featuring eight charming villas, and our stay here was nothing short of delightful. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Sri, Winda, and Susanta, who made us feel welcome and well cared for throughout our visit.The pool is simply amazing—perfectly serene and quiet, providing a lovely escape to unwind. Breakfast was excellent, with freshly pressed fruit juice that added a refreshing touch to our mornings. On one occasion, we had an early morning trip, and they thoughtfully organized a takeaway breakfast for us, which we truly appreciated.The location is fantastic, just outside of Ubud, surrounded by nature and a lush garden that enhances the tranquil atmosphere. The restaurant offers a fantastic selection of Indonesian and Western dishes, all of which were delicious.Our villa was well-equipped, super comfortable, and impeccably clean, making it a perfect home away from home. We can’t recommend d’kamala by Prasi highly enough—it’s a true hidden gem!

Nicely located between rice fields. Beautiful and spacious rooms, nice bathrooms. Room kept very clean daily. Nice and clean swimming pool. Staff very friendly and always trying to help. Scooter rent makes it easy to go to Ubud and surroundings. Staff maintains property and gardens very well. Some very nice and good restaurants in area (some walking distance some by scooter). On site restaurant is fine for simple local dishes.

Very noisy, close to road. Especially loud motorbikes. Beds were not comfortable with spiral mattresses. Communication should be improved (asked for room far from street via booking and got the one closest to the street; arranged laundry service myself for pickup and laundry almost got done by location itself). Laundry service isn’t charged per kg but per piece which is overpriced as you can get laundry done for 20-25k/kg including pickup/drop-off.

The restaurant provides a variety of yummy food, both western and Indonesian style; it opens long hours so we always have enough time to enjoy our dinner after day trip. It can provide breakfast box if we need to have breakfast very early. We booked with breakfast and it has more than we expected - fruit, hot drink, bread basket and one main course. Refill water, hot, chill and normal, is available and safe to drink. All staff are very friendly!

Location is excellent. a few miles from Ubud Centre.Staff are super helpful and go out of their way to accommodate special meal requests.Room amenities and atmosphere are pleasant.

The staff were so kind and friendly, they would always make my day! They provided every kind of service like laundry, massage, they cleaned the room every day. Although a bit far from the centre, we enjoyed the tranquility of the place. Highly recommended!

It’s such a cozy place just outside of Ubud, you avoid the constant buzz of the city and have a place secluded from most of it.The room was amazing, so clean and everything needed was there at arms reach! Oooh and the staff, they’re all soooooo helpful! They’re always ready to help you with whatever you need, they arranged a scooter for us, we got an amazing Balinese massage and we had some delicious meals.We stayed here for 5 nights and we’re happy we did! You can ask the staff for an itinerary and they’ll provide you with some amazing suggestions. It’s definitely recommended to rent a scooter, you can see so much of the beautiful environment Ubud has to offer. Thank you to all the amazing staff for the amazing service and friendliness ❤️
