Rama Phala Resort & Spa

The staff is incredibly good and polite, the resort is right at the area with restaurants and such. The entire resort is lush green and has great environment.

I had an amazing stay in Rama Phala Resort & Spa. The accommodation is located in the middle of Ubud, on the main street where you will find shops, restaurants and pharmacy. But at the same time it does feel very private and you have the feeling that you are staying in the middle of a jungle with a lot of greenery.

The rooms were a bit noisy. I could hear my neighbors clearly which made it difficult with sleeping.

1. The location is perfect, with a restaurant and parking available. Despite being in a busy area, the accommodations are located inside, making the resort quiet and beautiful. There's a restaurant inside the hotel, so you can enjoy a late dinner, and the food is good.2. The best part is that there's a very affordable massage parlor right outside the hotel. No reservations required, just walk in.3. It's within walking distance of everything. Monkey Forest is also within walking distance.

Their manner of serving us can make us arrogant, as if we were kings, acting conceited. The characteristically passive and quiet demeanor of Indonesians may make the bold manners of us Westerners seem coarse. Those who serve may lower their posture and attitude, but those who are served should lower their hearts.

location, quite and friendly

A comforting nook in a bustling area of ubud, well placed amongst cafes with no shortage of good food. A very convenient location with less than 10 minutes walk to the monkey forest. The service and staff have been excellent from beginning to end and truly have made me feel at home. While they maybe lacking in certain expertise, they more than made up for it in attitude and friendliness. At one point our room door was broken/loose and without us prompting them, they came by to fix it during housekeeping. A place i would highly recommend for any first time bali visitors, they certainly made you feel at home and well taken care of :)

Not a huge fan of how the bathroom was constructed, there is a huge shower area that had pebbles you had to balance/stand on that made it fairly uncomfortable. Behind the property there are quite a number of establishments that like to hold either yoga sessions or parties which can break the illusion of a private paradise, the smoke from the bbq disturbed me quite a bit which resulted in my retreating indoors instead of enjoying the outdoors. I had a bit of stomach discomfort at some point i believe i did not fare well with the food served. Cooking class was fun but would have been better if they provided actual recipes for us to take home. Personally i think food hygiene can be improved along with general cleanliness.

Great location, very comfortable and enjoyable surroundings, quiet, good size rooms and facilities, very friendly staff.

Nothing really, the whole place was great

Nice small hotel conveniently located within a walking distance from the centre. Staff were attentive, always maintaining the gardens and welcoming. Food menu was small, but sufficient. Bathrooms looked a bit tired, but all clean. Would happily return.

The rooms were lovely and clean, facilities were lovely and great location across from massages and great places to eat

The location was great, only a 10 minute walk to the monkey forest.Also, it was the first time I saw a hotel where the hotel pool was deep enough for adults. The pool and bar at the pool was very nice. The hotel room was generally very clean and comfortable. I recommend it.

Small hotel, very nice staff. Kept very clean & tidy.

Bathroom. Outside shower great but when it rained the toilet including toilet paper were soaked & there is not always a spare toilet paper roll to use.

In center, close to everything, good breakfast, big rooms, good staff.

Outdoor toilet, but it’s kinda hard to find indoor toilet in Bali in general.

If you are looking for a quiet beautiful small Rama Phala is the place to go. The garden is so beautiful, it is like walking into a small hidden gem full of peace and and green lush. The staff is very helpful and we had the most professional service. We had our 4 month old son with us and the staff definitely made our stay the best experience we could hope for.We also got massage from Desi and Pusipat, which we definitely can highly recommend.

Breakfast was good, location was excellent for me being so close to the yoga barn. Rooms are spacious clean and tidy. Felt very safe at the location and good walking distance to cafes and shops.

The beautiful, friendly, welcoming staff who go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. The property is right in the centre of Ubud with many shops and restaurants close by, but once you walk down into the gorgeous peaceful tropical gardens of Rama Phala it’s like you’re in a different world. The swimming pool is awesome, the spa does exceptionally good massages and the food is good, especially the French toast at breakfast which was delicious!!

I will definitely stay at the Rama Phala again. Tropical oasis in the centre of Ubud. The deluxe rooms were large, very spacious and clean with a semi outdoor bathroom. Al a Carte breakfast was sufficient enough to start the day. All the staff throughout the hotel were lovely. Plenty of other eating places within a stone's throw.

Could be a few more sunbeds around the pool.

Amazing place. The shower is FANTASTIC! Strong water power. You could have a shower looking at the sky. How amazing! The staffs ALWAYS smiling and ready to help you with anything. The room was super comfortable, amazing bed, good accommodations! Really recommend this place if you like to stay around restaurants and cafes. You could do many things by foot.

the unique thing we did not enjoy it was the breakfast. For the quality of this resort the breakfast is very poor. They should have better buffet with fruits, more options instead only the menu. And I have to say that the coffee is horrible. We did not enjoy the breakfast. We love lots of fruits in the morning, nice coffee and different breads.. there you must to order a la carte style.
