Bliss Ubud Spa Resort

gardens are lovely, location OK with interesting fashion/design shops walkable nearby, restaurant enough choices, breakfast buffet ok, staff very obliging, room overlooking pool - nice view; room big enough with balcony, with clothes dryer rack

room didn't quite live up to gardens - needed refreshing [for the price]; bathroom fittings a bit chipped & shabby, likewise upholstery, woodwork a tad dusty, no good bedside reading lights, could do with more electric plugs; pool only from 7 - 7

Staff were amazing, very helpful and always ready to assist. Facility was great and exceptional for the price. We also thoroughly enjoyed the meals served at the hotel, which were better than most of the restaurants in town. We took advantage of the spa where the staff were friendly, facility was clean etc..

If I had to complain about something was that our second room, as our booking was split in half as we went sailing, was not as nice as the first. It felt smaller and a bit older than the first, still great but just in comparison.

Firstly, it's a beautifully designed resort with spectacular greenery - ferns and palms - everywhere. We had a bubbling brook next to our door. We also found the staff delightful - always friendly and smiling. I liked that they greeted us when we walked by. When we had a question or issue, it was dealt with immediately. The manager met us and introduced himself, welcoming us to his hotel. We also found the food and service in the restaurant first rate. We highly recommend this magical place.

No criticism of the hotel at all! But regarding the city of Ubud, just note that there are few real sidewalks. Good walking shoes are needed. Do not drive a motorcycle unless you are Bali-driving trained (they drive on the left). The taxis are knowledgeable guides and inexpensive. And safer!

Oh, this property is amazing! The rooms were high-class with balconies, and the toilets were excellent — hot water and pressure worked perfectly. The AC worked wonderfully, and the staff were amazing. I truly loved the rooms and wished we could have stayed longer. Yoga also available , gym with amazing views. The pool was incredible! Breakfast was very good also. Another bonus is the nearby nail salon called Beauty Brands, where I got the best nail set I’ve ever had! Also be sure to try DANG COOKIES, they are the best you will ever try.

It’s beautifully presented grounds offers a lush oasis from Ubud traffic. Shops and a pharmacy nearby. Great pools and an inviting breakfast with many options. Also the onsite spa is a huge bonus!

The room I had had sliding doors with a neighboring room. We were kept awake by noisy people. Also the ceiling fan fell out of the ceiling while my friend showered. Could have hit him in the head.

We loved our stay here! It is absolutely gorgeous with lovely staff. There are 2 pools with one overlooking the rice fields. Dyan at reception went above and beyond each time we met her. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with lots of selection or you could have a set menu delivered to your room. Our room was modern and clean and comfortable. I can't wait to return!

Staff were exceptionally kind. The ladies at the restaurant were very kind to even taking care of our little kid. The kid liked them a lot as they were very friendly.

Property is well kept and in a good location. The staff are fantastic and friendly.

Fantabulous! All around. We stayed for 3 days initially with travel plans to go to East Indonesia. But loved the place so much, we extended another 3 nights and shortened our onward trip.We started in a private pool villa, and finished in a Deluxe Double. Both types excellent. We loved it all.Special mention for all the staff, especially the majordomo, Mr. Wayan. A lovely man. Most welcoming and helpful.

Highly recommended! The location is perfect, the resort is beautiful, and the staff are extremely friendly. What I loved most is how the property is so close to nature and blends wonderfully with Ubud’s natural habitat. A truly refreshing stay.

Breakfast was great and very nice selection. Kudos to the 'American' tasting bacon. I say that because it tasted authentic bacon from the states, smokey, slightly salty, crispy and great tasting. I've gone to other hotels where bacon was served and it had no taste, very bland. Room was excellent and pool location near the rooms were also good.

When I booked with Bliss Ubud spa, the only thing I did not like is the 'HIDDEN' cost for 'Service fees' I did not see this up front in the booking process. Only until I booked the room is where it was applied, This is the only hotel that held me to the '2:00 pm' check-in to my room, I travel a lot and most of my experience with other hotels lets me check in early...before 2:00pm.

Great room, very clean and tidy, lovely pool and grounds

Location was a bit odd. Was a bit out of centre so expected it would be quieter. However was on a busy road, which would be ok if there was eaiser walking access to eateries, atm, minimart etc. So either ate at hotel or caught cab to Ubud centre. Not a deal breaker

The private villa with the pool was incredible. Breakfast was the best. The whole grounds was so beautiful - the gardens and rice fields. The staff were the best. Best place ever.

we chose the location because it is nearby the event we are attending, the staff were very friendly, breakfast was simple but good

We booked for 2 rooms, our room's toilet is outdoor with no screen so insects keep coming in, and when it rained the whole bathroom is wet, the other room given was upstairs even if we booked 2 rooms with rice field view, aircondition is also broken in one of the room

I liked everything but just on the last day of leaving when we woke up late and asked to give sometime to pack the bags and luggages and I was told if you didn’t leave by 1:00PM you must have to give additional and that’s what I didn’t like.

This was beautiful hotel, with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. While there were times we wished we were a bit closer to the central part of town (it's about a 30 mins walk, faster drive but lots of traffic) but it was nice to be out of the craziness as well. Exploring and walking around the area is beautiful and easy. The restaurant is pretty standard but still tasty. The room was really great with a beautiful view.

We did try the spa and didn't love the experience, but perhaps it was the style of service that just didn't agree with us.

The rice field view was fantastic. The room was comfortable. The breakfast did not have many vegetarian options but they accommodated or request and offered some vegan options. The spa was reasonably priced and the massage was good.
