Bambu Indah Resort

I've stayed in many excellent hotels and resorts around the world and I cannot say any are better than Bambu Indah. Different, sure - urban or coastal - but not superior. Bambu Indah is truly idyllic. Attention to detail in the design of the guest houses.

Choice and servings of protein (meat or fish)

It is very unique and very well located, surrounded by nature and greenery. Staff is exceptionally polite

As I stayed in the Sumba house I felt that it’s interesting for a one night stay but uncomfortable to walk on the uneven bamboo and without any real windows easily the insects and rodents could come in

This was my second stay at this hotel, and it was a different experience—one that was truly memorable and natural. The details in the structure of each room are impressive, and you really feel connected to nature; it’s exquisite. I highly recommend it for couples.

Novel, fun accommodations (treehouse) with private pool; beautiful jungle and river

Numerous minor problems but added up to be annoying, particularly given the cost - water (sink and shower) sporadically stopped working, lock box malfunctioned, lock on room door broke and needed fixing.

This property is absolutely beautiful, authentic, and full of character. It truly made our trip to Bali unforgettable — the quintessential Bali experience! The interior design and finishes were stunning, every detail was perfect. But our favorite part of the stay was the people — everyone was so kind and welcoming, especially Hendra, who made us feel completely at home.

The design and authenticity

Everything about this resort was very thought out and magical. I could sit there for hours looking out at the views. The food was incredible and very healthy. We stayed in the Alora Orang house and the architecture was phenomenal. Every aspect of this resort was beautiful and breathtaking.

Easily the most incredible place I’ve ever stayed. I asked Chat GPT to find me an eco friendly resort in Bali and this was the first to come up woowoo!! After deeply reading through Bambu Indah’s website, I quickly became fascinated about the concept and integration of living in nature. This place is truly one of a kind- the service, food, rooms, amenities, employees and everything are all reasons why!I stayed in the Starling Room with my husband and it was the perfect amount of space for the two of us. We booked through Booking.com for a little discount too which was helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor shower and all the natural pools sprinkled through the resort. There is so much land to explore in this jungle resort! Walk across all the cool bamboo bridges, play in the river, and don’t forget to find the hidden underground tunnels with bathrooms!!Complimentary breakfast was delicious and our fave way to start each day.We booked services/experiences outside of the resort bc they are a bit pricey here.Otherwise, this was the best stay EVER 11/10

This place is pure magic. surrounded by nature, waterfalls and rivers. The property itself is beautiful as is the surrounding area. The rooms are a part of nature... expect visitors! All part of the charm! We loved everything here and only wish we could afford to stay longer

An absolutely fabulous creation in the middle of the Ubud jungle! A green heaven, where a unique bamboo design enhances karma and well feeling, creating an unforgettable experience and spirit!

It is not well suited for guests who are not mobile as the property has many stairs.

We stayed two nights at Bambu Indah and it was definitely not enough. We would have loved to stay longer.We were struck with the nature from the moment we arrived. The feeling being here is out of this world, the staff is the kindest, they arranged everything for us from manicure to a silver jewelry workshop. The food at the River Warung was delicate, full of flavors, and very tasty. We got to try two different types of houses during our stay. Both were very well furnished and decorated, super clean. We loved the sound of nature around us. It’s a perfect stay that went beyond our expectations, we will come back !

One of the housekeeping staff asked me if I was travelling alone. After confirming he offered to travel with me..was kind of akward / uncomfortable and not something I would expect at such a pricey hotel.

The design of this place. The employers are great! Super friendly and helpfull. The location is amazing!

You wouldn't actually expect when you pay 500euro per night to have a rundown bathtub area as you will see in the pictures or dirty and tainted courtains for the bed. I also hate it when people use the "ecological" concept as an excuse to be stingy. The breakfast was less than modest with only a few options to choose from. Also the most expensive foods and beverages we had in Bali!

Beautiful location. Very unique experience with family. Rained a little bit but did not take away from the experience. If booking Elora and Orin House with Kids the upstairs is accessed by an external staircase. Bathrooms are outside also. No locks for any rooms also but there was an in room safe.

The whole place is insane! Beautiful idea and so unique (we stayed in the tent) ,stayed at nothing like it l!

A perfect and sustainable place, in the middle of the forest. Peace, comfort and full attention from the staff. We love being in harmony with nature and sleeping with the sound of the river. An unforgettable place!!!

The way they have balanced the celebration of nature with the sophistication and elegance of Glamping and dining is spectacular.With two restaurants, spa services and natural pools by the river, it has everything you need to really relax and soak up the nature in Bali.Hendra was our server and really added to the experience.
