The spa was amazing as were the staff

We tried the bali massage in hotel but it wasn't good enough. :(

Beautiful boutique hotel which felt like a home. The communal jungle view infinity pool area is stunning, the architecture & attention to detail interior design in the all suite rooms & villas are luxurious. Located next to a temple for added ambience & perfect Ubud jungle escapism but close enough to town for other amenities if you can tear yourself away. The staff are wonderfully caring & always have a smile on their faces.

Staffs were jovial and helpful. There was a problem with our booking, but nonetheless they managed to accommodate me & my parents at the last minute, and even gave us a villa upgrade due to the unforseen circumstances. Location was rather isolated, yet it didn't have any eerie vibes, it felt homely and peaceful ❤️

Breakfast wasn’t very good. On Nyepi day, all of the employees were having a party next to our room until 2am so we couldn’t sleep. (Photo attached)

The place is gorgeous. The room we picked was so interesting and picturesque that I made pictures every day while we were staying there. We chose the room with the pool and river view.The hotel staff is nice and helpful. The hotel territory is full of plants - it’s like you live inside the jungles. Very beautiful.Personnel can come during the day and ask if you are happy and comfortable and even prepare your beds before sleep so in case you don’t want to be bothered and not waiting for the guests, put the “do not disturb” sign.The bathroom is quite big, included shower and the bathtub with amazing view. Clean! Which is always a number one priority for me. I was satisfied with the level of cleanliness. The rooms were being cleaned every day, towels changed on daily basis (it’s an important comment since I had an experience in another hotels when the towels were not changed but simply folded and put back to the places they were before).Please note that since you are close to the nature and have doors leading to the outside (the pool part) you might be visited by some insects :) which was okay for us since we understand that if nature is nearby, interaction with its habitats is inevitable :) do not be scared away if you see comments like “insect were everywhere!” - that’s okay for such places :) but pay attention when packing your bags to leave - they can come inside of your luggage. Just pay attention and be careful, they are harmless but still can spoil you homecoming and unpacking.Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. Since we had our own pool, we didn’t even have chance to visit the common pool which was also beautiful.I personally liked the breakfast and the portions (we had breakfast included) but be prepared that it takes 15-20 min at least for them to be cooked. We had a dinner at the restaurant (and ordered the food to the room) - I was not impressed by the portions vs prices and the menu.

Nice View in an quiet Area. Surrounded by a lot of green.

The Showers were a nightmare - Asked the Stuff to fix them but the water was constantly changing temperature.

The facility is good, having the transfer to Ubud center was also very helpful.

The breakfast never changed during the 4 days of our stay. Either fried eggs or nasi goreng is really too little of choice for people who stay longer than 1 night.

Cleanliness, pleasant staff, peaceful environment.

The staff, absolutely amazing, met Ardy on my arrival who made sure of everything, from the room service to the spa staff extremely friendly and accommodating.

I didn't like the gym not being available, it was closed for maintenance part of the reason why I wanted to go there but I enjoyed my stay

Such a beautiful, serene and peaceful resort. The staff at Vije are very friendly, helpful and kind. The suite I stayed in was incredible, very clean and always made up to a high standard as requested. The resort also has a free shuttle that takes you into the Ubud centre and back, which I found very useful. Would 100% stay again next time I visit Ubud.

It is a little far out from the Ubud main area if you would rather walk from your accommodation to the main strip but the shuttle bus and great service from local drivers made this a non-issue for me.

This is a stunning hotel with gorgeous views to be found everywhere. The room was big, modern and clean. Lovely big soft bed too. The staff was very welcoming and always happy to help.

The location is a little out from Ubud if that is where you are hoping to travel to. Most eateries are on the other side of the town. That said, rent a cheap scooter and it's very easy to get around.

The private pool was nice. The room decoration was extremely nice and had good accessories for use. Lots of space. Staff extremely friendly.

There could have been more food choices at the hotel and there were some insects that got inside the room.

The rooms are amazing. Most staff were terrific but the receptionist was unwilling to book a bluebird taxi for us so we could ride back to Kuta. Using the myblueburd app it was straightforward but it's the only time I have met such resistance.But after 5 nights we noticed the downside.

Noisy. Sweeping the pavement with the broom early in the day, the slowest whipper snipper yet so noisy, and the traffic from the road at both the front and back. Smoking in the restaurant.Restaurant food choices became unappealing after sometime.Overall this could be a 9 or 10 rating with a few tweaks.I appreciate that noisy guests who clap their hands in some strange ritual at sunrise is not something management can easily address. While it's totally inconsiderate behavior by the guests I only mention this because if this nationality is your target market it will alienate other nationalities in the long run. You're already offering deep discounts to get your occupancy up but caution might be needed.

Vije was a lovely place to stay but felt a bit tired. It is very quiet and we rarely came in to contact with other guests at the hotel and unfortunately some of the facilities were closed when we arrived

Love love love this property! It’s so clean and spacious, and the room was so well designed!

The room consisted of a large bedroom and a large bathroom with shower and bathtub. Nice balcony surrounded by plants. Clean infinity pool. Very attentive and friendly staff. I liked the evening of traditional Balinese dance, which the hotel organized for free. We used the laundry, we were satisfied.
