The Kayon Resort

The hotel is in a beautiful and peaceful location. The staff was wonderful and went out of their way to be helpful. Everything I ate at the hotel restaurant was excellent.

Sometimes there were not even pool loungers for all the guests.

Location is perfect. Loved our private pool. Staff is great.

Some items are looking need of replacement.

Excellent Staff. Great service. Will definitely be back.

Excellent breakfast, many options. Can use the facilities of the two other Kayon resorts in Ubud where there’s gyms, bigger pools, and hot tubs. Very hospitable staff.

The staff were fabulous, the resort was beautiful, and the food was great.

Colder pool in the villas, noy a bad thing but it can be chilly. The resort as well has no elevators so be prepared to climb some stairs.

AC, Bed need to be change i have already reported to the property

Warmest of welcomes, hotel presented really nicely with flowers etc on steps. Felt in a secluded area but equally not far from Ubud. Great that they also provide a free shuttle.

Fabulous jungle setting, exceptional staff and surprisingly good value. A perfect place to switch off.Regular shuttle to Ubud if you need to go out and about

There’s some building work as they extend the number of villas. Did not intrude on our stay-over though.

This place is one of the best places I have ever experienced. From the moment I stepped in to when I checked out I was in heaven. My check-in was very late but the resort had a sandwich waiting for me and my suitcase in my room.I amA solo traveller, and normally I feel a little anxious/miss home but this place never gave me that feeling. My room had beautiful veiws, monkeys, a flowing river. Breakfast was exceptional and the service even more amazing. I did yoga every morning and had a lush massage every other day. The staff are so friendly attentive and the service is fast. The lychee martini was the real deal. Highly recommend this place. Yes it is a little far from central Ubud but the hotel Offer a shuttle service.

Breakfast was a la carte, little less healthy foods, not many bowls or smoothies as used to in bali in other places but it was nice. The rooms were very pretty and loved turn down service.

The spa isnt something to write home about - the masseuses asked us what we wouldnt like - i had a lot of scabs on my legs from the corals from surfing and i told them not to touch my feet - and she proceeded to massage my feet haha. The treatments were okay but DO NOT get your nails done, they have no idea what they are doing, didnt disinfect anything, have only a few ugly colors, and it came out all bumpy, so my wife had to get it redone, which was better but also peeled off after two days. It was also quite expensive. So the spa could do with some training. They had construction going on from 7 am so it wasnt very relaxing.

Remote location, but still well connected with the center Ubud by the shuttle provided, this place is peaceful and you’ll definitely feel spoiled there. The staff is very friendly and kind. The restaurant is very good, too. As well as the SPA.

A heated private pool would have been nice. Otherwise, nothing to complain about.

Very romantic and angelic location with kind smiling helpful staff.

There was nothing I did not like as I wanted a very quiet secluded get away.

We found this place to be perfect for a couples trip no matter the type. The staff did everything in their power to make our stay an exceptional experience. We enjoyed the location. Away from the noisy city but a quick shuttle ride away.

Nothing we didn’t like.

We stayed in a beautiful villa with a view of the waterfall and jungle. The view was gorgeous. The private pool was cool but lovely and we enjoyed swimming here and in the main area. Nice fresh fruit in the mornings, breakfast included was really tasty. Liked the free shuttle service to go into the center of ubud.

Everything and everyone was amazing. A very warm welcome and an excellent stay. The food in the restaurant is very good and tasty, I had the BBQ night (great value for money and they even let me have the dessert in my room because I was really full haha) and the braised duck (wonderful and very filling).Breakfast is huge!

The prices on the spa were a bit much. A lot of great deals for couples but as a solo traveller was too expensive.

The resort, location, food, cleanliness were excellent but the staff was absolutely extraordinary. The front desk and the restaurant staff took the time to get to know me and my daughter, always welcomed us back, remembered our names and constantly asked us if we needed anything. There was a time when I had lunch by myself and immediately, they thought my daughter wasn't feeling well. They offerred to bring her food to the room. I told them that she was taking a nap :) I'm so glad I booked this resort. It was worth the $$$ and I cannot think of anything that I didn't like. I would 100% go back to this place again and would highly recommend it to everyone. Thank you staff at Kayun Resort!! You made our trip in Bali a great one!!

Great traditional resort. Having access to the sister resort was a huge bonus.

Spa has very limited availability, we weren’t able to use our massage vouchers.
