- This is paradise, actually. A huge three room wooden house, with mosquito nets around the beds, a lot of light, huge rice fields in front of us, pretty much a private pool (there are two other houses, they were empty at the time). Simple but nice breakfast, and again, the incredible people of Indonesia. The cannot frown. Their only facial expression is a genuine smile. Unbelievable.
- Right nearby Titi Batu and many amazing restaurants
- Beautiful location, great staff, great food, clean.
Cons -
- Nothing. Really.
- I had some ants crawling on me in bed
- Maybe a bit more variety in breakfast menu, but it was all very good.

Beautiful location, great staff, great food, clean.
I really liked the pond at the house, the style of the whole property. Nice wiev to the rice field, pool was also nice, I likeed the food, stuff was very friendly, I liked the lady who prepared for me the food, it was much better ehat I was expected.
Beautiful unique villas with a fantastic view, helpful friendly staff and lovely location. I would love to come back here soon for a longer stay!
Maybe a bit more variety in breakfast menu, but it was all very good.
The 2 bedroom villas are the best! So spacious with two outdoor bathrooms that were so lovely and clean and a large living area, kitchen and expansive deck overlooking the paddy fields. One of the most charming properties I have ever stayed in, and it is evident that a lot of care has gone into decorating the villas, the landscaped gardens and ponds in the traditional Balinese style. Try to book the two bedroom villas as they have the views of the paddy fields.
The restaurant offers dinner and lunch as well, however there are better food options to be had outside or by ordering take-out.
Amazing hotel, amazing view and staff. A perfect peaceful stay near Ubud !
The beautiful surroundings and the traditional design.
The outdoor bathrooms need some TLC and the cleaning can be a lot more thorough.
The best place in Bali! The hotel is spectacular, the location is great and the staff is truly amazing! The rooms are clean, the breakfast/restaurant are really good. Santi ( member of the staff) made our stay incredible, she answered all of our questions about Balinese culture. P.S. there is a street dog that sometimes goes inside the hotel to say hello. She is the sweetest little girl ever. She is really friendly and gentle. We named her MAYA. If you have a good heart ( which we know you have ) please keep an eye on her. If you are not a dog person just don’t interact with her and she will leave you alone. We would love to come back to this place and see MAYA as part of the Lodtunduh Sari’s family. This place is highly recommended!
Friendly staff and Rice field views are great! Restaurant is good enough, with all handmade in the moment by the same staff. They have board games for rainy days, and day trips prepared for you.
Room might have needed a bit more cleaning. A lot of wildlife in surroundings, specifically during the night. There's nothing in particular at walking distance.
The staff was very helpful when I inquired about the laundry service. I truly appreciated their warm and welcoming attitude, as well as their friendly smiles.
I stayed at this resort for 11 days, and unfortunately, the cleanliness of the villa was far below acceptable standards. The villa had bed bugs, and despite informing the staff and requesting a mattress change, they only replaced the bed sheets and pillowcases, which did not solve the issue. I suffered from bed bug bites every day. The shelves and even the clothes hangers were dirty, with spider webs everywhere. The resort itself also had cleanliness issues. While the limited breakfast options were good, the tables were dirty, with ants and stains all over. This was very disappointing for a resort of this standard. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and works to improve both villa and resort cleanliness for future guests.
In a quieter part of Ubud, which we preferred. You can get a Gojek into central Ubud very easily. Takes about 10 mins. Great breakfast, great pool, lovely staff. Beautiful bathrooms, great beds, gorgeous surrounds. Got the balance right between being in nature with a touch of luxury. Our favourite stay so far in Bali.
Can’t think of anything.
Fantastic family holidays. This place is so peaceful, with view to the rice fields. Very authentic and relaxing. We stayed in the two bedrooms apartment, which was spacious and great with two outdoor bathrooms. The staff was wonderful. The pool was also beautiful in front of the rice field. It was good to be bit outside of Ubud (while being accessible quickly through taxi app) which is quite busy and noisy city. We highly recommend to stay at Lo
Amazing Staff , nice dining area. Super comfort and relax. All the necessary resources were made avaiable without any hassle.
Outside of busy Ubud
Only had outdoor bathrooms. Busy with snails and grubs!
The staff are amazing. We stayed 16 nights. Everyday we were amazed at the hard working and positive staff. They went beyond our expectations every day. Thank you to Santi and all the other staff. You will be remembered as one of the best things we loved about Bali. Thank you for always welcoming our family. Best of luck in the New Year.
It is an amazing place, beautiful view to the rice fields, near to Ubud center. The staff is really kind, the rooms are clear, the breakfest is very good. I can suggest to everyone who would like to have a calm, realing time.
The setting was beautiful overlooking the rice paddies. The staff were very kind. The restaurant area was also very nice. I liked that the villa had it's own fish pond.
I was in a villa directly behind the restaurant and kitchen, as well as quite close to the entrance. I could hear a fair bit of construction going on. I should have looked more carefully at the photos as the villa had glass walls on 3 sides and the bathroom was completely open air. It was beautiful but I just felt a little bit over exposed! I ended up checking out earlier to be a bit closer to the action in Ubud. I would definitely stay at Lodtundah again, but next time travel with a friend and request a villa that is directly overlooking the beautiful rice fields.
Lovely large, well appointed villa overlooking the rice fields, especially at sunset. Fantastic staff that are very friendly and accommodating. Very peaceful location.
Located in rice field so that was nice but rooms were not very clean and curtains and mosquito net really needed a wash.
Not many restaurants or cafes within walking distance and the food at the restaurant was pretty terrible.
