About
IBAH: Nature, Nuture, Culture. A travelers sanctuary preserving Balinese culture. Set on the historical grounds of Campuhan Valley by the Wos River, Ibah was built on ancestral lands gifted as a wedding present to the founding family and is now stewarded with care by the founder’s children. This charming boutique hotel serves as both a sanctuary for travelers and a vibrant tribute to preserving classic Balinese culture and the patronage of our guests plays a crucial role in this mission. Surrounded by abundant nature and spiritual sites laden with mystery, the property is steeped in what many have called a certain type of magic. Its architecture, a fusion of traditional Balinese style and modern conveniences, reflects a deep respect for local arts and spiritual heritage. Strategically located near downtown Ubud’s array of restaurants, galleries, and shops, Ibah serves as an ideal retreat for both explorers and those seeking tranquility. The hotel offers private, well-appointed suites and villas with serene garden, river and jungle views, providing guests a peaceful haven for relaxation and cultural immersion. Ibah is committed to sustainability through its Ibah Farm project, which employs biodynamic farming and permaculture to enhance soil health and produce nutrient-rich food. This initiative not only supports a sustainable ecosystem but also preserves the artistic and spiritual traditions of Bali, offering guests a meaningful stay where tranquility meets cultural and ecological custodianship.

Excellent boutique hotel 10 mins walk into central Ubud, and same distance from walks through rice paddies! Staff were incredibly friendly, the whole build is in traditional Balinese style, so is very different from a modern new build hotel. Stunning for that reason! The Oleander villa w pool was just beautiful!
Not a lot to dislike, unless you are looking for a lot of facilities.
The jungle feel of the rooms, every room is unique, loved the outdoor shower, staff was extremely nice and helpful throughout the stay! Truly memorable stay!
Wish all of the suites had outdoor showers!
Great property, blending with natureExcellent staff and serviceGood food
Ubud as a destination is very chaotic, overcrowded, and unbearable traffic. Overhyped.
Everything. The beauty of the grounds, the layout of the villas, the privacy and decoration of every square inch inside and outside the entire complex took our breath away the moment we arrived. Not to mention the wonderful staff, the koi ponds, the dozens of pieces of sculpture artfully positioned everywhere you looked and the delicious food in their restaurant plus the entertainment provided several nights was magnificent! For us, we’ve never enjoyed a luxury hotel better! Congratulations to everyone on the Ibah team.
Very beautiful property I stayed in the treetop lounge if you have disabilities don’t choose this roomIt’s a climb up to get to the roomThe hotel is convenient located to Ubud city center just s walkover the bridge The only thing for me was a lot of mosquitoes I got it several times and I stay only overnight
I got bit by mosquitoes several times
I continue to indulge in staying at what's become my favorite hotel in Bali. I've now stayed in 3 room categories and it's tough to choose a favorite, though my repeat stays clearly highlight how much I adore this property. While there are tons of options in Ubud, Ibah is consistently the top in all categories- comfort, aesthetic, service, location and overall vibe. I so appreciate the indulgence offered to all of my senses here, and I'll always look forward to returning. Views from each room are natural and unique in their special ways. This time I even got a private yoga session included as the only guest who signed up- what a treat! For me, the Ibah team and offering represents a high standard other hoteliers around the world can aspire to. Luxury is more than a label, it's an overall feeling, and Ibah hits this out of the park without being pretentious.
The Resort is beautiful - lush, tropical gardens, water features with meandering pathways. Lovely just to walk around and enjoy. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Although very beautiful, I have safety concerns over the main pool area. There is a huge drop down to a lower pool area with no safety rail. Could be very dangerous for small children.
The staff were kind, serviabile, ready to help
No such feeling
Everything weas wonderfull . İts the place to feel the nature and the soul.Hotel had facilities and was very landscapy, staff very kind and helpfull. Food delicious and properly selected for all cultures .
the bedstead in our room was creaking ?
It’s really unique and unusual. Everything was great. Food is tasty and staff is really polite and nice.
There is not enough sockets in the room, so better to bring power strips
Beautiful old Balinese inn and villas on a river gorge, in a jungle just outside Ubud. Beautiful landscaping and architecture. Large rooms with great verandas
No views of rice paddies. Just jungle
Staff, property, architecture, apothecary on site
Staying at Ibah was one of lifes beautiful pleasures and privileges. There was nothing that we didn’t love about it. Our room, with this beautiful balcony overlooking the temple and all the hotels different areas were just beautiful.Staff? And a big thank you for the time taken to give us a tour of the gardens
A place of tranquility in the middle of Ubud. Amazing, helpful, thoughtful staff. Reception has kindly agreed to send my postcards. Room service was lighting every evening anti mosquito candles on the terrace. Were closing curtains and mosquito net around the bed. The territory is very green. Spacious wooden villas in traditional are clean, well equipped, great terrace. Comfortable beds. Breakfast is very tasty a la cart. Wed jazz evenings are delightful, you can order songs. Food is delicious. Pool is made of stone, surrounded by jungles beautiful and not crowded. Hotel is located close to Ubud art market and lots of restaurants.
We received a very warm welcome from all staff at Ibah, the hotel has been sympathetically carved into the beautiful surroundings, so you really get a sense of staying in the jungle. We stayed in a treetop suite and the rooms were spotlessly clean, the daily selection at breakfast was perfect and the added touch of afternoon tea was much appreciated. Cocktails were made perfectly and the options at dinner were plentiful, with something to pleas everyone. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly return.
Loved it all!!
Beautiful hotel set in stunning tranquil grounds. Everything was wonderful; the property, our Treetops Suite, food, staff & swimming pool. We couldn’t fault it, a perfect escape in busy Ubud and a great location.
This was our second, longer visit to Ibah as we loved it so much the first time. Everything about the hotel, stunning gardens, delicious food and amazing staff is first rate. We highly recommend this tranquil spot to base yourself if you’re visiting Ubud. It’s an easy 10 minute walk to the town, has the ridge walk and temples right next door and is surrounded by nature. As soon as you enter the hotel grounds you feel peaceful and calm..We regularly ate at the restaurant and used the pool and spa - all fabulous! We’ll definitely be back. This really is a palace in the jungle.
