Excellent stay! The property is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by nature. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. Staff were kind and helpful. Food was delicious with a good variety. Perfect location near Sigiriya. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Pinthaliya Resort is a beautiful nature getaway. The facilities are excellent, everything is very clean, and the swimming pool is well maintained. The staff provides great service, and the food is always fresh and delicious. Highly recommended for a peaceful and comfortable stay!

It's a hidden gem inside the jungle in Habarana/Sigiriya area. Even though a little gloomy and showing their age the rooms are spacious and well appointed. The furniture is made of solid wood. The bathroom is large and well equipped. The guests should park their vehicles at the car park near the gate from where they are taken in electric carts. The food served at the restaurant is delicious. There are enough walking pathways inside the hotel land as well as outside in the villages. However, don't venture out early in the morning and the evening especially alone since there can be an occasional elephant in the vicinity.

The location was great for trips to Dambulla, and Sigiriya, and Minneriya national park. It was very spread out and it felt like no one was staying there. There were 2 pools, one was very refreshing and the main one got a little warm, bot h were very clean. The bathrooms were dated but fine, there was hot water. We had 3 rooms and 1 of the rooms had a fridge. The staff were friendly and mostly spoke pretty good english. The kids spent a lot of time in the pool and really enjoyed it and the monkeys that would come and say hi.

We had an amazing experience during our stay! First and foremost, the staff was fantastic, so friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to help. Their warm hospitality truly made us feel welcome.The rooms exceeded our expectations in terms of size and comfort, which was a pleasant surprise and added to our overall enjoyment.What truly stood out was the thoughtful gesture from the team. It happened to be my father’s birthday during our stay, and when I inquired about arranging a small surprise, they went above and beyond by organizing a lovely cake at the dinner buffet, completely free of charge. This unexpected kindness made the celebration even more special and memorable for all of us.We were genuinely touched by their effort and couldn’t be happier with our stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for exceptional service and a wonderful experience!

While our overall experience was enjoyable, there were a few aspects that could be improved.Firstly, the buffet didn’t quite meet our expectations. The food quality was somewhat underwhelming—though perhaps it just didn’t align with my taste. Additionally, the variety of dishes was rather limited, which left us wishing for more options. However, considering the price we paid, it was still a reasonable offering.Although the rooms were spacious and comfortable, having a balcony would have been a great addition to enhance the experience further. It would have provided a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings.We did appreciate the hotel's effort to maintain a natural, forest-like ambience, which added a unique charm to the stay. However, a bit more tidiness and organization such as trimming some trees and refining the landscape could strike a better balance between preserving nature and offering a well-maintained environment for guests.Overall, while these aspects didn’t diminish our positive experience, a few improvements could make the stay even better.

Visited Srilanka with family in Dec 24. It is a beautiful property, large rooms n big bathrooms, very pleasant stay..breakfast, they offered English and traditional Srilankan breakfast, we are pure vegetarian, got good option. Food was tasty. Property is well maintained, staff is very polite and helpful, highly recommend.

Room was spacious. Nice spacious bathroom. Friendly staff. Calm and quiet location. I made a special request and hotel staff was kind enough to facilitate the same with free of charge.

Food varieties are not sufficient.

This was our second stay at the Pinthaliya Resort, and once again, it turned out to be a truly memorable experience. The resort’s breathtaking location immerses you in the heart of nature, offering the serene feeling of living in the jungle.One of our favorite features was the stunning swimming pool, beautifully surrounded by lush trees. The hospitality was exceptional, with every member of the staff being incredibly friendly and supportive throughout our stay. A special shoutout to Nimna, Vidurinda, and Hiruni for their outstanding service and warm support. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit so wonderful. We can’t wait to return to this amazing place soon!

We had an exceptional experience at Pinthaliya hotel. The restaurant and staff were truly amazing, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Specially Nimna at the reception. They were attentive to all our requests and even surprised us by preparing a special birthday cake for my wife. Their dedication to ensuring everything was arranged perfectly made our visit unforgettable. Highly recommended!

The rooms were a bit Dusty, had to request a hair dryer wasn't in the room.

They couldn't accommodate my original booking for 6 Pax family Room. Subsequently , they offered 02 double rooms in a different place. Friendly Staff, they are trying their best to offer customer a good service with available resources. Specially we were so happy to take part in Awrudu Festival organised by the staff.

There were lot stray Dogs every where. They should have done little better for Food (Didn't have more western food ) It seems they have not maintained some areas of the environment (May be due to dry weather).

Beautiful property with lots of nature and the sounds of wildlife. We booked a family suite that was very big and spacious and the beds were very big. The staff were very friendly and professional and were always ready to assist us with our inquiries. They kept checking on us and were always asking if we needed anything. The manager was very friendly and went out of his way to satisfy our requests. The resort was only a 30 minute drive from sigiriya rock. You can also book other activities at the hotel like a safari or a local village tour which we enjoyed with the family. The food was good too and the staff prepared the food the way we liked it which was another plus.

One of the air conditioners in the room we booked wasn’t working properly and was making a loud noise which made it difficult to sleep. The remote controls for the A/C and tv needed new batteries. The hotel didn’t have a baby feeding chair which made it a little difficult since we had a baby with us. Also, there are a lot of flies in the restaurant which is quite unhygienic since they were all over our food and the restaurant is an open restaurant.

Colleague and myself, had a great and comfortable stay, We felt that, the management has been changed and they was doing good so far. also, we planned to have a workshop since they have nice Banquet hall. Lovely staff, very helpful..

The architecture was very unique- traditional Ceylonese nature-caring concept. Staff were very friendly & personalised service. Food was amazing! Overall beautiful & unique stay. Some parts of the hotel were being lightly renovated. Other than that amazing!

We got late to come but staff and the Manager was there to welcome us, that made us very comfortable.

There are small small things, we informed Faizal the Manager to improve.
