EKHO Sigiriya - 700 meters to Sigiriya Rock

Proximity to Sigiriya, close to restaurants, cleanliness and amenities at the hotel were top-notch.

Great location and staff very friendly

Pool a little small

Super value for money, very clean and organized rooms, with good toiletries and very helpful staff

Location, hospitality, food.

Great location. Good interior design. Smells lovely. Lots of restaurants nearby.

English communication can be tricky sometimes

Very clean, closed to restaurants and bars, accessible. The stuf were really nice.

Bad smell in the toilet

This is by far my favorite boutique hotel during my two weeks solo travel in Sri Lanka. The location is near the lion rock with walking distance. The lobby/dinning area is very spacious and wide open. All the decor reveals a blend of colonial style. Due to the cyclone and severe flooding my travel was interrupted but the hotel accommodated all my needs. The staff was very attentive and so was the kitchen to cook non spicy food for me. The manager was very kind as well. Last day showed me how to get to the destination and bus stop etc. I recommend this hotel highly.

Very comfortable stay. Friendly and helpful staffs. Location is really good, very near to Sigiriya rocks. Good pool, very good breakfast etc Totally worth it ❤️

We were forced to leave the placed as the others guest dont have to be relocated to new hotel and need to wait longer. Bullshit

Fantastic location (although note you will likely still need a tuk-tuk / trishaw for many adventures, even Sigiriya if you are doing sunrise). The staff was extremely kind and helpful, and the facilities were nice. Solid value for money, as it was all nice and claimed to be sustainable.

Not a ton of Sri Lankan variety in the menu. More Sri Lankan menu choices would be better.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the Sigiriya historical site. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. They were very attentive, especially Akash, who was wonderful with our child. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality!

Had a wonderful stay at Ekho Sigiriya – clean rooms, great location, and a peaceful vibe. A big thank you to the manager for being so accommodating, and special appreciation to Chef Ajith, who prepared delicious Jain meals on request with great care. Truly made us feel at home. Highly recommended!

Close to lion rock. Very friendly staff. Good food

Not so clean pool.

Friendly and welcoming staff, well-kept territory! Pleasant and functional colonial interior design.

Unfortunately, the breakfast was not tasty. Thanks to the special person who makes you an omelette. He saved us)

Great location near Sigiriya rock with breakfast buffet included (Sri Lankan and British)

Good- Staff were warm and friendly. Breakfast was good. Location in walking distance to restaurants etc. Areas for improvement- Room was dark (the one window faced the common area and our blind was broken closed anyway). Air conditioning and fridge were very loud, we would hear these in the night. Room smelt a bit damp. Staff weren’t very helpful in suggesting things to do.

We arrived earlier than expected and they allowed us to have early check in at limited notice. We were super tired from our flight so this was very much appreciated in the moment so we could get some sleep. The service and general attentiveness of all the staff was impeccable - truly an enjoyable stay! Plus the food was delicious! Thank you to Nilakshi, Udesh and all the team at EKHO Sigiriya :)

The shower had a slight sewage smell. We expected this from past reviews so this was not a huge problem but one to be aware of.

Great hospitality! We arrived after a long flight + a car drive from the airport to the hotel and were extremely hungry. When we asked for lunch recommendations, the staff prepared us a free meal (salad and french fries)!! The food was very delicious The female staff also showed us the best place to see the Sigiriya Rock. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Occasionally the power went out but that’s out of the hotel’s control. There was some black dust(?) on the bed.

We loved our stay at Ekho Sigiriya, great location, beautiful breakfast and friendly staff highly recommend

Hotel location and the room….really comfy bed and pillows!! If you look ahead there are nights when you can get a room for sub $100 inc breakfast.

Nothing ….all was good!!
