Holiday Inn Unawatuna

Great place to stay clean, good value and great location also host is very nice

Very honest and value for money. You get what you pay for, and the staff is super helpful.

Be aware that the facilities and the amenities are not top notch or super new, but it is clean and looked after.

owner is good person . he always care about his visitors. rooms are clean . if you are seeking a calm quite place ,this is the best one. we stayed 5night in there without any troubles . friendly service they provide . ❤️ thank you ..!

Everything about this property was incredible! It was spacious, clean and in a good location with a very friendly and helpful owner who went above and beyond! The rooms were just as described and when we arrived we had been upgraded to a better room - thank you for making the stay special! We highly recommend Holiday Inn for your stay in Unawatuna!

I've been staying here from time to time for over 2 years. Very welcoming host. Very stylish room.

A window handle broke. Hope it's already fixed.

The owner was helpful. I had room top floor at back. Quiet, which I appreciated. Air con was great and also fan. It is right on main thoroughfare but only 5 minutes from the street which has all the restaurants, beach access, and hotels etc. There are some great eating options a few minutes on same road. I was able to rent a motor scooter from the owner.. there is a lounging area up top and you can also use fridge and cut up your own fruits etc.

Only got one towel. Two would be better for when washing your hair. He did provide a top sheet, which was great, but it had seen better days. A fresh newer one would leave a better impression. The place caters to Russian clients with signs everywhere in Russian language. I personally didn't meet any to talk too but I was doing my own thing.

The place is central and close to everything in town. The staff was very friendly

The restroom has a bad smell from the sewage but overall the place was clean and neat

Close to the beach, bus stop, shopping and restaurants

Even though room and bathroom seemed clean, I didn’t feel comfortable due to strong smell of the mattress. White clean linen would definitely be an advantage

It's less than 10 minutes walk to Unawatuna beach and is on the main road so there are plenty of shops, food places, and bus stops close by. There is a gate to get onto the property so it's separated from the main road. Any issues were dealt with immediately and the manager was very friendly and helpful.

Would be good to double check your booking as I didn't have a mosquito net in the room even though it said it was included. This was fixed straight away when I asked though.

All Things Are Very Comfortable And Staff Was Very Helpful.Very Clean And Calm Place To Stay For Anyone.Very Pleasent Experience In Our Life.......... ❤️

Very practical to stay in a center and great price performance. The place is close from all attractions

The room wasn’t very clean but for a one night it’s alright considering the price

Very friendly hosts who helped us with everything we needed. We also had a little problem with the sink caused by us and the the owner took care of it while we were not around. Thank you!!!

The best accommodation which we have stayed in thus far! Clean, good location, lovely staff and cheap! It’s a steal for what we paid! Would have loved to stay there longer but we had to move on unfortunately.. Would recommend to everyone

very friendly owner, place was as advertised , still the Impression is that it looks bigger on the pictures :-)

other guests and especially the traffic on the street was very noisy

Comfortable stay close to the beach and the city center! Good hot shower, big room and comfortable beds.

Host is really nice, suggested an upgrade which was much better.

Cleanliness is lacking. Had big spiders in the room.

The rooms were clean, modern and had mostly everything needed. The A/C and fan were working great.Location is alright, mostly everything in walking distance.Good value for the money

Everything was in russian and not in English.Wifi doesn't work properly.Really noisy (loud russians) and doors were thin. Staff was pleasant.

the locationthe staff is nice

no wifi in our roomjust a fan is not enough

Very friendly owner, he helped us with everything. He gave us AC for free for one night, as the humidity was high. The room was large and clean with everything we needed. The beach is very close.

The bed Was not the most comfortable (quute hard).

good location to the main strip

all our clothes were damp after staying here. there was an awful smell to the room. kitchen fridge was disgusting with bugs in the freezer. cockroach in room. bathroom window permanently open with wire sticking through, so high risk for theft. banging noises from 8am onwards.
