We got the superior room with huge bathroom. All was nice except the fact that in the morning the sun was shining so bright from 6 am and there is no chance to cover the bathroom windows.Kind of lacking privacy in the bathroom, because of the glass door.The rooms facing the pool have nice view too, but you will lack privacy unless you keep the curtains closed,or you are on the upper floor.It’s a lovely place though.

The property is located in a quiet area but close to center. The staff was really kind and helpful. The breakfast was good and tasty. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I honesty recommend this place

Amazing experience from start to finish. We started off with a different Accomodation that was inadequate and Somerset Mirissa took us in straight away. They were so helpful throughout our 3 nights there and had everything we needed when asked for it. It was amazing to see the monkeys there daily and the views were fabulous! I cannot thank the staff enough for everything they did for us, including transport back to the airport. If I were to come back to Mirissa I will be staying here!

We had an amazing stay at this accommodation! The place was exactly as described. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always willing to help. Their hospitality really made the experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

The hotel is located slightly off the main street, so you’ll have a 10-minute walk from the main beach. However, once you’re on the hotel grounds, you’ll feel like you’re in a nature reserve—monkeys, squirrels, peacocks, and many other birds can be seen right from the balcony! Delicious and generous breakfasts, with special thanks to Mr. Sila, who always took great care of us. Quiet and peaceful atmosphere. A very Instagram-worthy pool. The staff is always helpful, so don’t hesitate to reach out to them with any questions.

The staff speaks limited English. The exhaust fan in the shower was extremely dirty, and there were several small issues in the room, such as an old, unkempt fridge, dirty walls, and some mold in certain areas. Fixing these details would make the hotel truly wonderful. The safe was not working.

Close to Mirissa town and the beach, only a 3 minute walk. The hotel is modern, smart, very clean and run by lovely people. It overlooks the jungle at the back and you can see parrots, peacocks and monkeys from your balcony and the pool.

Food, location and very good staff. The pool is absolutely great with a beautiful view on the jungle.

We couldn’t really open our curtains in the morning because the restaurant could see straight into our room.Asked for pool towels twice and the first time they did not have any available, second time we were supplied with one pool and one small towel.

I couldn't help but feel the photos on booking.com were old (felt slightly catfished). The rooms are a bit dated. Breakfast wasn't great. The whole hotel just didn't have a great vibe. Staff weren't very attentive and there was no atmosphere at the hotel. We stayed at other hotels for alot less and had a much better experience.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Somerset Mirissa Eco! The location is perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. Waking up to a symphony of birds and enjoying the view of the rainforest, with monkeys and squirrels nearby, was simply magical.The rooms are modern and well-equipped. The water pressure and hot water were exceptional – something you don’t often find in Sri Lanka.The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They assisted us with arranging a tuk-tuk and a scooter and went above and beyond to accommodate all our requests.Breakfast was outstanding, featuring a generous fruit buffet along with a choice of English breakfast or traditional Sri Lankan dishes, which were absolutely delicious.We would love to come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing stay! ??

Surrounded by beautiful trees and nature, the location is truly serene and relaxing. The pool could have been a bit cleaner, which might be due to the natural setting. The rooms are cozy, though a bit on the noisy side with sounds carrying through. Overall, it’s a lovely place to unwind.

Mosquitoes in room as soon as you opened a window . Air con iced up at night, breakfast was cold, bed uncomfortable,room was small,Dirt track road to hotel ip a hill to hotel.
