Pathetic to say the leas

If i could rate it negative, I would have. One of my worst stays. I have stayed in remote places but their service was much better. But this place is not even match to 1 star. First off the owner tried to charge us 3x the price of what we had on booking.com. When I told him, he was adamant that it was right. Asked him to recalculate and then he said ohh it must be a mistake. There are no views from the room. The only view is the hotel in front of this. Amenities are 0. They don’t even provide drinking water. Wifi connects and disconnectsUnsure why you can’t wash your clothes. Coming from the beach clothes are bound to be dirty but if you wash it they will charge it. Only plus side is the walkable distance to the beach. The owner was considerate when we asked to change the room during check-in. But he should have read the booking details as we booked for 2 adults and 1 child. Considering the status of the property, it has steep stairs which is unsafe.The owner’s wife made comment about my wife’s weight which they don’t have any right. If you are planning to book here, don’t. They charge insane amount ($75+) without any facility.We also spotted a snake ij the property from our balcony. So be careful.

The location is perfect for easy access to the beach in Mirissa, and the owner/manager was extremely friendly. The room was comfortable and well sized

A bit of juice and better coffee would take the breakfast to the next level.

Rooms are big and comfortable. Hot water is running 24/7. Breakfast was good with plate of fruit and good coffee. The owner is really kind and helpful. Arranged for us extra cake and pancakes for Christmas breakfast. It's really close to Mirissa beach, shops and restaurants. We had lovely stay

I like the view. The room was clean, and the bathroom is also wonderful.

Room space is less and we didn't get hot water.

Very close to the beach. Many stairs to get to the room (I love stairs), the staff very helpful.

The reception smeels humidity

It is very comfortable. Location right in opposite side of the Mirissa beach. The owner is nice family ready to help and advise some activities. Thanks Mr Dhammika

The owner was super friendly and helpful! Because of his hospitality, I give such a high rating! The hotel is a short distance from the main beach.

Based on the pictures, we were expecting something different. The hotel is in the narrow alley, without any view. In the room curtains must be closed otherwise there is no privacy. All rooms are facing the same shared terrace. The hotel is very dated, with bad smell, but the price was high compared with the other hotels.. I do not understand how hotel rating is so high..

The room was spacious, comfortable and clean with a nice big terrace. However there was a smell in the room and also in the whole street due to a canal that had stagnant water in the dry season.The hotel common areas unfortunately lack attention to detail and charm. It would be easy to change with a few plants and paint I guess. The highlight is the aquarium and the short walk to the beach.Breakfast was offered for 1500 slr.

Location, lovely owner and staff.

Stinking great river, sewage next to but each beach in Sri Lanka has one.

The accommodation is pretty close to the beach, approximately 3min. There is an ATM in between as well. A lot of Restaurants and shops are within walking distance. The rooms are big and clean. They offer laundry service and help organizing trips or transport as well! With little luck you can see some Monkeys in the trees from your balkony.

The location was the best. 1 minute away from the beach.

The price is high for what they offer. The “hotel” looks outdated and a bit pricey of this kind of quality. But expect only high quality in Colombo

We had a great stay at the hotel. The hotel is located perfectly with the beach at 2 min walk, and also really close to boutiques, restaurants and ATM. The staff is really nice and helpful and got us great deals to do the Yala safari and for the transport back to the Airport. In general the hotel is clean with big rooms and bathrooms. We also had a nice big terrace.

Very friendly owner. Comfy bed. Lots of charging points. Incredibly central but super quiet, which is so rare in Sri Lanka.

Cold shower in the morning. Terrace was poky next to our room due to being on the end. No mosquito net as pictured but owner got us a plug in straight away when we mentioned and offered to switch our rooms next day. Building feels a bit like a multi story car park. The noisiest cat you have ever heard!

The location of this property was amazing just 1 minute walk to the beach and the main road. All the shops and restaurants are nearby.Rooms are nice with all the amenities and the owners are helpful as well.

Nothing to dislike

The owners of the hotell are nice and helpful and the breakfest is good. Nice location close to beach

If you are sensitive to smell, like me ?, its a smell og mothball in the bed which can be quite intense.

We had a lovely stay at The Beach Inn Mirissa, the location was super close to the beach, so it was very easy to get around. The staff were super accommodating and very friendly!The breakfast was also great for value and very tasty!!
