The location were great as it is very close to the beach.

It was disappointing, one of the bedsheet has a blood stain and some other stains as well. There wasn’t a remote to the A/C so we couldn’t adjust the temperature and there were no basic necessities ( soap, shower gel or at least a coffee) so other than the location the service and the rooms were disappointing.

The room absolutely stank any time you ran the bathroom Tap it created the most horrendous smell from the drains. Also there was a prostitution ring being ran out of the room next to us. Never stay there again absolute dump.

Location is wow ?

-No available wifi -Load shedding 3-4 Times in 1 day--Haven't wellcome Water /Tea /coffe?--Haven't shower jell? /savan?

Only good thing to say was that it was on the beach

Everything elseIt was dirty, a building site, no hot water with very little water pressure, no plugs in the room or bins, woman at the front desk was very disinterested and never said hello when we came in etc

Huge room. Huge bathroom. Shared balcony with street and ocean views. Extremely acceptable for the price and location. A few ammenties “missing” but who needs a tv when the beach is literally 50m walk away. Wont find anywhere as good as value for money as this place.

Restaurant did have music until about 11pm downstairs but honestly the sound from busses horns was louder.

It was a great location near to the beach.

The advertised WiFi didn’t work. The bed sheets were stained that we slept in. The room was very loud as traffic passed in the morning, we woke at 06:30 in the morning (not the hotels fault, but still).

There was no indication from the receptionist how to get in the hotel at night so we arrived after an outing around 3am , there was no way to get in so we had to stay else were

The receptionist forced us to pay double price as she got some thugs to harass us

This is the only bad review I’ve left for anywhere I visited in Sri Lanka. The hotel is filthy, un maintained and a death trap. DO NOT TAKE CHILDREN, the balcony’s are unsafe. From first arriving the receptionist took a while to serve us. We then went to our room, I paid for a superior room with a city and beach view… the balcony’s were all shared so don’t waste your money on any upgrades. The room was described as having many facilities which is the main reason I booked it. We were staying over new year so I was hoping this would be a nice hotel, when we arrived it looked like something out of Jurassic park.The room- shared balcony with everyone on that floor. The room had old plugs, no fridge, no tea and coffee or. Kettle, no towels, the shower was cold and was more of a trickle. There was a leak next to the bed which made the floor slippy. The bar downstairs was overpriced and the staff were more concerned about their own conversations rather than serving us. When I complained about the room, they did bring us a toilet roll, towels and the did clean the floor and mirror. The WiFi didnt work either, which wasn’t good over new year!

Right near the beach. Reception staff nice and very helpful. Rooms very spacious also they have air con and a fan.

WiFi connection not good on floor 5, road did get quite busy at night.

Great view from the tallest building on the shoreline.Central location.Room was cool with both fan and aircon on.

The lift was in the words of one staff member, "problematical". It sometimes worked on the way down but rarely on the way up. This had knock on effects, such as the cancellation of the rooftop bar and breakfast. There was no fridge, TV or rubbish bin. The water pressure seemed ok at first before fading to a cold trickle. The front doors were locked when reception was unattended (which was at least 3 hours beyond the stated checkout time). Luckily we found a side door near the lift and stairs which was open, though very strongly smelling of fish.

The locality was good.

1. The staffs were very creepy. There was a guy who kept following us. They took my passport and didn't return it until I fought for it. 2. They had no amenities ( toilteries / water nothing) 3. The lock on our door was broken. Very unsafe for girls. We had to secure the door by moving the dressing table to make sure we were safe.

Only the beach was great. The hotel location is near the city and beach. Worst experience with staff and they do not care about guests facilities. Even no one direct us to our breakfast. It was included in our package.

At last, my booking app showed me 40 $ and they charged me 44$, saying it was 10% tax, and again they said it was a commission by the booking.com app. But aap introduce me the location 40$ including tax and all. Is it true that guests need to pay the commission for booking.com?

Property was very close to the beach and there was a very good party in the evening.

Rooms were not clean. There was no water supply in bathroom from morning 6am to 11:45am. Door handles were not properly fixed. When I tried to close my door, handle came with hand. There was no one in the reception to even complain about all these.

The location was great. The manager was a young and very pleasant guy. The room was spacious and clean.

I would have liked to have some tea making facility at the room with some supplies. I left around 7.30 am and the restaurant was closed.

They sold my room to someone else even though I was arriving in and then said fully booked, They left us outside with no room and all fully booked, This is the worst experience I have ever been in & the worst management I've ever come across, Their numbers dont work and is redirected to somebody else who manages named Imi Jayawickrama who eventually blocked our number so we couldn't get in touch in anyway. How disgusting and unprofessional.
