W15 Weligama

Very friendly staff, great beach view pool and easy access to beach. The rooms were pretty clean and well maintained. The location was pretty convenient where you’ve got easy access to nearby restaurants, supermarkets all within a few minutes of a walk. You could access a wide range of beach restaurants if you feel like you need to checkout a different food menu/drinks, but the outdoor restaurant is pretty decent and reasonable in terms of prices.

There’s a high chance you will have to park outside of the property because the parking could accommodate only about 3 cars and I had to move mine a couple of time to allow space for the staff/ service vehicles.

We had the most wonderful stay at W15 in Weligama! From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely fantastic. The hotel has a stunning beachfront location with breathtaking views, and the atmosphere is both vibrant and relaxing. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our experience was perfect – always warm, attentive, and welcoming.Our room was stylish, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. The food and cocktails were exceptional, with plenty of variety and fresh, delicious flavors. Whether lounging by the pool, enjoying the beach, or simply soaking up the lively yet laid-back vibe, we truly had the best time.W15 exceeded all expectations – it’s a place we’ll remember fondly and can’t wait to return to!

Perfect location - right in the center of Weligama beach.Outstanding breakfast and resturant - from Pizza to Sri lankan rice and curry.Amazing staff and atmosphere all day long.

The baby cot was broken - but after we asked ut was replaced.

Professional service, great bar, music, swimming pool. Overall amazing stay and is probably the best place in the town.

Our room was facing the noisy road. Staff informed us about this upfront, so can’t really blame them.

They had a private party with outsiders from the hotel right in front of our balconies with people screaming, dj, people in the pool, until really late.. keep extending couldn’t sleep etc. The staff keep saying it was gonna be done by a certain time and keep extending the party.

Amazing property, great location, rooms overlook the pool and lawn and beach. Facilities were great.

Food at the hotel could be slightly better but whatever feedback we gave them, they were so gracious about it

less facilities for the price we paid. Expected more facilities with the brand name and should improve the breakfast menu. The pool was closed until 8:30 AM in the morning.

Amazing location, beach and bar. Cool DJ on the premise every day from 3-11pm!

Some times the service was a little slow, despite there being 4 or more servers standing around at the bar. Not a big deal though.

The room was clean and good looking.

Despite my request for a quiet room, they gave me a room facing the street. You can hear every motorbike, car, and truck as if it's passing by your bed.

The staff is amazing! Takes care of everything you need, always with a smile, they really want you to have perfect experience. Food in the hotel is very good, you have to try the pizza ! Definitely will be back.

Lovely accommodation. Great location. Booked a standard room but got upgraded to sea view suite up the top on arrival. Lovely rooms - comfy beds, clean. Have kettle, tv, fridge etc.

They play loud DJ music until 11pm. We loved the view from the oceanview suite but as this is right by the DJ set the basey music made it impossible to sleep until the music stopped (even with ear plugs in the sound was loud). Would recommend a room further back as I feel these would be much quieter.

Very well located next to Kai beach club and the Marriott, the rooms are well decorated. The music wasn’t too load for us and the kids actually enjoyed the party vibes playing pool table and swimming in the sea.

The location is great, just in front of the beach with perfect waves coming in all day long. Only you have to do is to lift your head from your pillow and the check the conditions. The staff is as everywhere in Sri Lanka super nice. But I think hotel management is only about making money. So bad food, loud music and awfull choice of sunbeds and chairs. But the location is really great therefore we booked this hotel. A bonus is the SPA, really, really great!

The location is best located for great surf every day and also promotes surfing...but then there is really nothing which has anything to do with surfing. You can not dry your clothes, you need to walk with surfgear next to the reception every day (very bad designed). Really the hotel itself has nothing to do with surfing, only the location is great. No surfvibe at all.....The room we had, had a great bathroom and perfect bed. But the there was awfull music all day long (the music was actually good choice of the DJ, but the bass was wayyyyy to heavy (you could not talk outside or read a book) and it is not a party place, it is a hotel with high prices for Sri Lanka. It is a super nice hotel in front of the beach. But why hire a DJ when there is no crowd to listen too, till 23PM every day! We left earlier because of the music. So it is def not a family place unfortunateley. The food was also very far from great so we went to Nomads for breakfast aka lunch or to Cava of to A42 restaurant, or to Villa Hillcrest to have dinner. The sundecks are black with red, awfull choice and very, very cheap plastic....nothing classy at all.

Great boutique hotel with friendly & helpful staff. Nice location on the beach.

I think the property could invest in some newer sun loungers and more of them dotted around the garden.

"The most noisy place I have ever stayed in, and on top of that, on the third day, they had a huge festival with a market, hundreds of people, loud music, and we were asked not to use the pool. When we checked out I sow they are getting ready for another party, that will start in the evening
