Hotel Vacanza - Mirissa

We stayed at Hotel Vacanza in Mirissa for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. The host was very welcoming, flexible, and always ready to help, which made us feel at home. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service was excellent throughout our stay. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the beach, making it easy to enjoy Mirissa’s beauty. Highly recommended for anyone visiting!

Wifi did not work very well but everything else was really great.

Very good lication, beach just across the street. Room was very big with refrigerator and with great big terrace. Everything was clean. Staff was very friendly and willing to help. Breakfas was amazing. Really recomended!

Very good place, the rooms were very spacious and well cleaned. It felt like a real 5 star hotel, with the beach so close to it. The service by the owner and his staffs were the best! They were very caring and friendly. The breakfast was wonderful and they kept us comfortable till our leave. Awesome place to stay and a place to surely revisit.

Big and spacious room! Big and comfortable beds, nice balcony. Everything was good. Nice breakfast, they have two options. One srilankan and second more western. Both are good and enough. The staff is very friendly.

When you want to pay with a card, they will charge you more.. Tv didn't work.

Dirty towels, very dirty bathroom mat. Needs top to bottom renovations both inside the rooms and outside. Shower/bathroom floor very worn.

It was clean and well situated for the beach and the town.

I popped downstairs in my dressing gown at 7am on my first morning and the manager/owner decided that this was a good time to begin pestering me for payment. They could have asked me for payment when I checked in and I was not due to check out for another 48 hours, I was not planning to flee the country in my dressing gown to avoid paying for two nights' accommodation in a mediocre hotel. This is just really bad manners and he just lost me at that point.One of the sockets in the room didn't work.They also do this weird thing of locking up the front of the hotel at 10pm, so you come back from the town and are alarmed to see a hotel that appears to be closed for the night. I found staff and they let me in but it is such an odd thing to do.There are much better places to stay in Mirissa in the same price range.

Good size room, excellent location, central but set back enough to not hear road noise or local bars.

Felt more than 2 star for sure! We've stayed in 5 star hotels in Sri Lanka that was far worse. Big room, very comfy king bed, fridge, huge balcony (but beware the monkeys if you have food), room service and laundry facilities. Location was great in the middle of the strip and down a small alley.

The owner and the staff was very nice and welcomeing... Very easy access to the beach (just across the road) and the food was good....

Nothing to dislike but there were some flies due to the weather and they even made sure to deliver the food to the room because of it.... Very good customer service....

Great hotel, with great staff, and a perfect location, very close to Mirissa Beach. Breakfast was amazing and the room was big and comfortable. Chana is exceptional, he always goes above and beyond any expectations for his guests. Highly recommended to stay there if you go to Mirissa. The rooms were very spacious, with a big terrace. The breakfast was good and the staff was very kind. The position also is very good, just 50 meters from Mirissa beach, you cross the street and you already are on the beach.

Staff are very friendly and helpful.Room is big and clean.1-2 mins walk to the beach, a lot of restaraunts and shops around.Beware: monkeys can come to your door and steal something ?

Everything is good

Amazing staff and hospitality. Breakfast was awesome and the management was flexible in meeting our expectations.

Overall facility and the cleanliness did meet the standard but however they could improve by making few adjustments. Mind you that the country is rebuilding after Covid + the recently facedffinancial crisis.

Great location to access all the local beaches.Friendly staff if sometimes absent.Goldie the dog!

The room wasn't cleaned every day. Could have done with new towels each day.
