The Kato Hotel

The food was absolutely superb. Worth every penny. The staff was wonderful and friendly. The rooms were clean/ I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I'll definitely be back.

It was a little hard getting there by car, but that's Nagoya's traffic's fault not the hotel's. They were great.

Great free parking. Free breakfast included. Didn't use the laundry but could see ample machines available. Size of room good. Good location.

The price for dinner at the restaurant was very reasonable and the food was great!

Wish that the ventilation of the restaurant could be better so it doesnt leave too much smell on the persons eating in there.

good location, comfy beds, hot and powerful shower, staff were kind, buffet breakfast included. the staff kindly gave me two extra pillows that I requested.

room was a little bit small, but overall not an issue. the noise from the train tracks were quite noisy but that isn’t any fault of the hotel. it didn’t disrupt my sleep though.

Location was good, easy to find, very close to the train station and a nice restaurant called HARUBAR. Also very close to a supermarket. Staff were kind and friendly, lots of the notes and printed info had English as well. Food was great.

Japanese-style crunchy pillows and a doona fit for winter, in the middle of summer. Both seem to be a "Japan" thing as far as I can tell though. Nothing the AC couldn't handle, but kinda odd.

this content is edited. i have had a negative experience with the hotel but after telling about that in this space, the hotel contacted me in a gentle way. i think it was a positive action from the hotel.

Clean, room was amazing. Public onsen for males too!

Breakfast could have been better :(

The proximity to the expressway. The breakfast and dinner on site made it a convenient stop to rest on a long road trip.

The bed and especially the pillow were very uncomfortable, I got very little sleep because of it.
