Pros +
- Nice family-run hotel in Bajawa with very nice hostess
- Good location, very friendly and welcoming staff, delicious breakfast, beautiful view, clean rooms, safe environment, easy check-in.
- Great view, clean room, good breakfast, nice and helpful staff.
Cons -
- Very low water pressure made it almost impossible to take a shower. It's better to book a room on the 1st or 2nd floor.
- The first room they put us in smelled mildewy/moldy and they had an air purifier on (so it’s an ongoing concern - but the purifier isn’t up to the task). We asked for a new room and they accommodated this. The sink and shower taps are oddly positioned (very high and if you’re a short person it will be awkward to use/reach them
- Low water pressure. The bathroom needs an upgrade. The curtains and bed covers could do with more neutral colors

Very nice staff and comfortable rooms. Good view, good breakfast, water refill station , welcoming coffee or tea. They prepared a late arrival dinner for us

Very friendly hosts! They proposed to prepare dinner for us even though it was kind of late, and it was super tasty! Good breakfast with fresh fruits and pancakes!
Ah, somehow, I find myself fortunate. I’ve heard many complaints about the stay options on Flores, but I’ve found all of them great, and the people are incredibly warm and welcoming.Bajawa Roo was no exception. The entire family and the staff (basically interns from tourism schools) were fantastic. Shree was the best. We chatted a lot throughout my stay and became great friends. Shree introduced me to IGGY, a character. He took me on tours of the traditional village and gave me a firsthand experience. Because of him, a family in Bena Village invited me to their home, and we had a great time together. They even gifted me a souvenir as I left. The rooms are basic but very clean. For a remote town like Bajawa, they’re doing the best they can, and people should be considerate of them. The rooftop dining area offers an incredible view of the entire town, and if the weather permits, even a clear view of Mount Inerie. On one particularly sunny day, I spent a few hours simply relaxing and enjoying the views, sipping on soju. BEST TIME.They serve simple breakfasts in the morning comprising of - Toast/Eggs/Pancakes/Fruits/Coffee. If you want dinner, inform them before - Shree prepares delicious stir fried egg noodles.I stayed here for two days and thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
Good family owned property. Quiet location. Comfy bed. Good wifi and decent breakfast. Kettle and fridge provided. Two sofa chairs in room
Low water pressure. The bathroom needs an upgrade. The curtains and bed covers could do with more neutral colors
I can Highly recommend this place to stay Sooo Clean and comfortable very welcoming friendly helpful owners that take the time to chat Fantastic views.. All new with comfortable bed good breakfast Safe and secure rooms excellent value for money
The landlady was so sweet and friendly. Rooms are basic and clean. Breakfast and dinner are served on roof terrace with an imposing view of Mt Inierie. Breakfast is really nice..a selection of homemade sweets, fruit, eggs and toast, pancakes and fruit..all freshly prepared.
Large rooms with balconies overlooking Bajawa and Mount Inerie.
- The bathroom was not clean, the bin hadn’t been empty from the previous guests - The bathroom sink was bizarrely almost at chest high, difficult to use - The wardrobe had a really musty smell, we kept it closed and didn’t use it! - The WiFi only worked next to reception - the transport organised for us was terrible - the driver smoke, spoke on the phone all the time and drove dangerously
Comfortable place with amazing views from the restaurant! The staff was very friendly :)
The staff was great. A family affair. Quiet area away from main streets. Clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast.
Nothing. We had a great experience.
The room was super clean, spacious, and had a great view! It had everything we needed. The bathroom was big and the water pressure was on point. We will definitely recommend this place!
The hotel is placed on the little hill and has a great panorama view over the town - this is definitely a highlight. Staff is really helpful and kind. They have helped me with organizing transport to Riung and Aimere. They will be able to get you a scooter or a guide. Food portions are really good and owner’s wife happily prepared for me additional meals for reasonable price. Rooms are spacious and have functional furniture which is not a usual thing. In the room you will find a fridge with a mini bar.
Great little hotel up the hill a bit overlooking Bajawa. The room was very comfortable with minibar, kettle, fridge, and two nice seats and table, as well as bench and table outside on patio. The owner is fantastic and made everyone feel at home and cared for. Breakfast was good and the friendly travelers vibe was the best we found on Flores. We slept great and really enjoyed Bajawa and the area, as it’s tidy houses, well kept gardens, and friendly people.
A little better room ventilation/fan and maybe another power outlet. It’s above town slightly, so daytime sounds are full of local color, including school music practice, call to prayers, etc. but we enjoyed feeling the vibe of the community and it was quiet at night.
The staff was great. The room was clean.
They didn't connect us to wifi until the morning, and no tv.
Hotel is well situated in Bajawa with a great view of Mt Inerie. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff couldn’t do enough to assist us with our needs including scooter hire. We got to visit a local school with Moses and enjoyed playing with the children.
- The hotel is situated within the bamboo hillside which overlooks the town so has lovely views. We stayed on NYE so had a great view of the fireworks happening across the town.- Friendly staff. The hotel is run by a local family and were very engaging to make conversation. - Food was basic but very tasty and home-made style. - Big and spacious room, including a shared balcony space. - Provided a laundry service which was reasonably priced. - Good value for money overall.
- We had a little trouble with the bathroom toilet pump. However, once highlighted it was quickly rectified.
Very nice place for adventuring Bajawa. Walking distance from the center of Bajawa. Moses the host is very helpful with tours and transport and has lots of information about the region. It’s placed on the hill so you have a view over the city… easy to visit the Vulcano and all the beautiful traditional villages and the hotsprings.
This place has an excellent rooftop dining area. I only had breakfast there but it was good with views over the town . The room was decent enough. I stayed an extra night so it must’ve been okay. I was on a road trip with a driver and to be honest got fed up with too much driving and liked Bajawa. I found some fascinating walks by turning left out of the hotel and going up the hill and then left again. There is a fairly traditional village there that linked to the Town. It’s mainly metal buildings but otherwise is a very traditional village layout. I also had a cup of coffee with some of the locals who were very friendly.
