Very nice family small hotel a bit out of the center of Furano, you definitely need a car to get around. The house is very attractive, beautifully designed in a modern way, kind of zen vibe, the room and beds, shower very comfortable and pleasant. The owners are very sweet and accomodating and offer good breakfast and free coffee and tea all day, which was great. It snowed heavily at night and the owner cleaned our car for us, which we really appreciated and were thankful for. We loved our stay.

Clean, very nice boss and staff, delicious bread in breakfast , spacious room, quiet . I bought strawberry and requested for washing it , then it was coming in plate with well arranged!

The place is clean and spacious. breakfast is sumptuous and delicious and the owners are very friendly and greeted us every day.

A delightful stay at the Hanafuji Inn! Everything was excellent and super clean. Wonderful breakfast. And such kind hosts - they even shoveled out my car after a nighttime snowfall!

Very lovely couple manage this small inn. Perefectly clean, comfortable, excellent breakfast provided. (Breakfast includes wonderful home-made breads!) Their English is good - very helpful for non-Japanese guests. They also provide a very useful map with places of interest complete with QR codes linking to Google maps. Just one of the details demonstrating their commitment to guest service. Good location for train station access, skiing, summer flowers, and Daisetsuzan Park. Highly recommend!

The couple who managed the inn were wonderful, kind and friendly. The breakfast was hand made just for us and was wonderful both days we stayed.

The hotel had the option of either a western style room or Japanese style. The couple managing the hotel was very accommodating. The hotel was near sites like farm tomita and some scenic gardens.

You need to arrive early for breakfast since it's first in first out in terms of being served.

It truly felt like home—clean, fresh-smelling, with beautifully handmade breakfast, and most importantly, the hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. They thoughtfully prepared a personalized map for each guest, highlighting nearby attractions and restaurants, complete with QR codes that link directly to Google Maps for easy navigation. Every time I came and went, they greeted me warmly, always ready with helpful advice and a genuine interest in hearing about my day. I only stayed for two days, but somehow, returning to the hotel to share my experiences with the hosts became one of the most memorable parts of my trip.

The place exudes a homely feeling. After staying in a series of hotels around Hokkaido, the place almost reminds me of home. Correspondences with the owners had quick responses - less than 2 hours. Love the lift that brought our luggage to the room on the 2nd floor, the view from our window and the homemade loaves and strawberry jam made by the owner’s wife. For those who drive, the hotel provided a map of tourist spots with map codes - excellent!

I arrived after 7pm, all the eateries near the hotel were closed. Nevertheless, we ate instant noodles with hot water provided by the owners.

Very clean with all the amenities. Great service and a delicious homemade breakfast every morning. Great stay!

Nothing - excellent stay

Such a cute little inn with a beautiful view of the Hokkaido mountains! We stopped here to stay the night before exploring the area and it did not disappoint. The couple running the place was super sweet and helpful and the place was impeccably clean and comfortable. They even helped bring up our luggage via a luggage elevator. The breakfast was DELICIOUS and worth the stay alone! Please take note to follow the traditional Japanese rules of removing your shoes at the front and wearing the provided slippers.

The property is exceptionally clean and the host is helpful to provide information around the area. She was busy preparing breakfast for other guests when we were about to leave. But still, she came out and said goodbye. Nice gesture!

Nothing in particular. The property best suited for self drive. Parking is ample and right in front of the main entrance.

The owners were really kind. Breakfast was superb on both days. Rooms were neat and clean. Had all the necessary facilities. Quiet and cozy. Not far from the Furano ski place if driving.

Literally nothing.

This is definitely the place you want to stay when exploring Furano and surrounds. The inn is cozy and super clean, with all the amenities you can wish for, and the couple who run the property are super kind and treat you like royalty.

It’s not a negative but you probably want to have a (rental) car to be flexible and enjoy this glorious part of Hokkaido, rather than having to rely on public transport. Especially if you wan lt to ski at Furano or (a bit further away, but absolutely do-able) Tomamu and Kamui, like we did.

The structure is new, clean and pleasant. The car parking is free and conveniently placed, just in front of the entrance. The staff at the desk welcomed us with warmth and happy faces. The room itself was spatious and warm. The bathroom perfectly clean. I've particularly appreciated the lights they have choosen for the room: not too strong, not too weak. The futons were confy and the breakfast very good.

Everything about it. The location, the hotel itself, very comfortable, quiet, spacious rooms, everything was squeaky clean. The owners were very nice and helpful.

Beautiful rooms! Very quiet and peaceful! I slept wonderfully! The host and hostess were wonderful! Even swept the snow off our car before we left! Above and beyond!

Not a lot of restaurants in Nakafurano. Limited transport options to get to and from ski fields so having a car is ideal.
