Hotel Naturwald Furano

All the extra amenities were great, including the kids play area, the onsen, and the breakfast was excellent.

The beds in our room were way too soft and not comfortable to sleep on. They felt very old.

The hotel is super conveniently located across the road from Furano ski field. It has ski rentals and heated lockers for drying boots and skis. The breakfast buffet was good value and has a range to suit most. Loved how there is common areas for drinks refills and the dessert buffet for all guests that lasts 4 hours.! The Lavender bus stops right outside the hotel so no issues with access either! All the staff were very friendly :)

A bit dated but understand it would be hard to renovate a busy hotel

Such a great location to simply walk to the lifts on Furano. So many free snacks and drinks. The hospitality is next level. The breakfast was out of this world and kept us fueled for a full day of skiing.

i booked non smoking room, but the both roomed we checked in smell like cigaretts.the pillows are not comfy at all and the hotel costed us if we ask for one more pillow.the bed sheet also un tidy and bit dirty.

This hotel is absolutely an ideal for a family with kids to stay. Good location with good service and good food. I recommend to take half board. It is worth the money❤️ the location is perfect for ski.

The half board they provided is awesome , did not expect to be this good It has its own onsen as wellHotel is a bit outdated , but still cosy , clean and well facilities . You can easily stay there for few days ( without going anywhere ) and have a holiday within the hotel already Highly recommend for family

Matteress is a bit old but bedding is clean and good quality

Close to chair lift and gondola, with nearly ski and SB rental shop and view from the room overlooks to slope

About some food for Dinner, shrimp for grill not enough for our round.

Slopes are closed when we stayed, but we didn't know, so we had to take the bus to prince to ski. I wish there was a free shuttle on call so we would not be limited to the lavender buds, which has a very limited schedule returning from prince to the hotel

Breakfast was not being refilled, specifically the ice cream. Lot of kids wanted to get ice cream. There is at least 20 mins before closing and it’s already gone and not refilled!

Hotel is well located to Kitanomine gondola and has good supportive facilities for skiers. Breakfast is good. Staff are very helpful with more staff managing good English.

Hotel is very difficult to make bookings even 6-12 months in advance and one has to be very persistent/diligent to be able to achieve your desired booking requirements, even well in advance.

Staffs very nice and friendly, restaurant and food are great. Location is perfect and private, room are nice.**PS one of women staff at the reception give us the super good advise for our dinner in town, really memorable place, Thank you so much**We promise to come back and stay woth you again once we visit Furano next time.

Great breakfast, snacks, onsen, and other amenities.

The hotel has a very nice character. Not overly commercialised. Staff were very pleasant. There are a lot of free facilities such as a kid's play area, dessert bar, lounges and dedicated work spaces. The Onsen was very nice as well.

A lovely hotel, convenient located just across the road from the ski lift. We really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were so friendly and helpful. There was a great buffet breakfast and the onsen was beautiful. We would definitely stay again.

Excellent location - airport shuttle stop right outside, 2 min walk to gondola.Loads of extras including free drinks any time of day, snacks in the afternoon and generous buffet.Onsen was spacious, with an outside area.Good hotel for non-skiers and kids - reading area, work cubicles & kids’ play area Personal touch - thr GM came around at dinner, offering to take photos.

Only 1 lift for a relatively big hotel.Rooms were a bit dated, and could be cleaned better - dusty.

This hotel really makes you feel at home. It is very, very generous with its inclusions - free self pour alcohol with the extensive and delicious dinner buffet. Free dessert buffet for all guests, even if you don't eat dinner. Free snacks. Tea/coffee/hot chocolate available free 24 hrs a day. Free wine and snacks in the adults zone morinone each night from 7.30pm.Plenty of space to work if you need to in the library or work from home areas.The food for breakfast buffet and dinner buffet was absolutely amazing. Extensive selection, very fresh and tasty. The staff were uniformly kind and helpful.The onsen was lovely, but sometimes a little bit crowded. That's life!For skiing, the location was very good right at the base of the Kitanomine Gondola. Unfortunately not ski in/ski out, but only a short walk -maybe 5 mins - to the slopes. The hotel offered a discount for lift tickets. The ski lockers were just out the front and well heated so our boots dried out overnight.Our room had a great view over the ski fields, and was quite spacious. It was a bit old in decor and style, but everything was clean and functional.

The wifi was a bit slow and unreliable, but we were in rural Hokkaido!These next are getting a bit picky, but I didn't like that we could only get twin beds. We pushed them together to make a "double" but it wasn't the same as having a double bed. It looks like they don't offer any double beds. At least all we were offered on booking.com was twin.Our room could have used a bit more storage space. Most ski guests would stay more than just a couple of nights and it would be good to have more space to put your clothes when you unpack.Both minor points, and I would stay here again in a flash.
