JR Kyushu Station Hotel Kokura

Location definitely a big plus. Connected directly to the train station below as well as plenty of restaurants. Parking for the hotel was a breeze as well.

Amazing location, clean, easy, great view, bed comfy and spacious for 2

The location (inside the rail station), the morning breakfast, very friendly & efficient staff & beautiful city with lots of transport options.

The hotel is right in Kokura station, making it a great choice if you have to catch an early train. The room was comfortable. Breakfast had plenty of options.

Location was excellent. Room was extremely quiet. Room was compact but was what I expected.

Breakfast was more suited to a person of Asian culture. Breakfast could have one or two more items for those with a western palate.

Fantastic location on train station. Breakfast is good for Japanese standard though choice of eggs not available.

Rooms could have been better equipped and more spacious.

Very convenient location to train station, Shinkansen, shops, and restaurants.

Bed was a bit too firm for us and needed more pillows

At par with other JR hotels, the Kokura station JR hotel offers steady quality and reliability for a reasonable price. Though small, our room was immaculately clean, practical, stylish and comfortable. Special thanks to the highly professional and courteous staff who offered valuable help at a time where trains were totally suspended in the region due to massive flooding.

Staff were very friendly and the location is great if you are coming by train. Lots of attention to detail and small amenities (like bathrobe and slippers)

The room was small, but by Japanese standards, quite typical hotel room size.

Clean!

Way to expensive for the size of room. Can’t hardly turn around.

Location

There was very strong smell of damp in the room! So much so that by the morning the clothes smelled musty and the bed linen had a damp odor.

Excellent location for travelling around Fukuoka. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, would recommend this hotel.

Beds were uncomfortable.

Friendly staff ,clean rooms & had size. Very close to train station, restaurant, shopping!

The hotel's prime location right beside JR Station is unbeatable. The room is spacious, spotlessly clean, and cozy. It is very well-maintained despite not being a new hotel. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Sure will return for my next visit!

Convenient entrance directly from the station at both Lv 1 and Lv 3. Clean room. Comfortable beds. Easy-to-use laundry area.

Nil

Well located near shops, transport, castle.2 rooms were located together.Clean facilities and amenities.Twin room size is significantly larger than double.

Check in process was a bit lengthy - think the two rooms under one name didn't help.Pillows were uncomfortable/ hard.

Convenient location, clean room

Facilities a bit old

Excellent breakfast friendly staff at restaurant and co-operative.

All was wonderful.

hotel has excellent location, right above amu plaza at the kokura station so you have easy access to restaurants and the shopping mall. staff was nice but when it came to check-in at 3pm, i had to wait in line for quite a while because they would process everyone at the same time. the rooms are clean but the lobby floor would smell sometimes because of the smoking room

Hotel is conveniently located above JR Kokura station. The rooms are dated but huge compared to Japan standard & comfortable.
