Apa Hotel Kokura-Ekimae

Location is near the Kokura station

It is the tiniest hotel room I have ever stayed in during my business trip. I stayed 2 nights, but they did not clean my room. I complained to the front desk, but did not get help after returning from work in the evening..The bathtub was filthy with some dirts from the previous guy!! They did not provide me with toiletries for the second night's stay; however, they charged me more than 1.5times for that night!! It is unfair and an injustice to me. They should not do it with any customer. I used to stay at APA hotels, but I will never in the future for sure. My experience was just ..saitei..I should complain about it to Booking.com for sure. They did not give fresh towels, and I asked them for the second night for that..

The toilet sink tap is not convenient to use. You either hold the control or use max flow which is too strong.

I booked a non-smoking room, but the room smelled of cigarettes and my clothes smelled of cigarettes until the next day.The front desk staff was unpleasantThere was hair in the room and on the bathroom sink and it was dirty.The accommodation fee was mentioned out loud.An impossible response.I don't want to stay there again, ever never!

The hotel was nice and close to the station but quiet . I loved the little old world shopping streets . The river is exceptional to walk by and enjoy at night when the lights sparkle and the fish are jumping. The castle is so beautiful at night . Gorgeous town .

I really love the location it's really near the Kokura station and it's not hard too find. You can walk to the department store around that area and also have supermarket. I think it's very convenient. The rooms may be a bit on the small side but because I was staying alone, there was no problem. Safety, cleanliness, and various amenities. There's more than I can use up. If I have a chance to come back to Kokura again. I will definitely come to use the service again.

Just the room is quite small.

The check in was good. Our flights got delayed by one day and I sent message to change the check in date... immediate response and smooth check in and out.

In the morning the cleaning ladies are a bit noisy... and they didn't clear the rubbish outside the bin. Meaning the only clear what's in the bin. And trash bag left next to the bin was not cleared... And the pillows need a change. So hard on the neck. Very uncomfortable.

Convenient location right near the train station. The room was quite spacious, clean and with good facilities.

A little surprised at the price, but it was for a Saturday night.

Near the stations, the staff are very accommodating. The room are very neat, the beds are very comfy and even the pillow. ??

Unfortunately hotel was doing some renovation work so it was noisy in the morning. But should be better once they are done.

Bathrooms were not clean enough, there is visible mold around the sink and the bathtub

Excellent location. Convenient laundry. Friendly staff.

Unstable WiFi. No vent in bathroom. Air quality is a bit bad. Can't adjust AC. AC dehumidification is too strong.

The breakfast was good.Local and price were suitable.

The treatment of the staff at checkin wasn't pleasant.There are propaganda leaflets in the room.

Staff were lovely, and the facilities are Apa Hotel standard.

The fire alarm went off at 1am. It was a false alarm but still concerning as there wasn't any English.I had booked a non-smoking room but could smell smoke from previous guests.

Room was very clean. Comfortable bed, pillow, easily accessible plugs, nice desk.
