Pros +
- I didn't have the breakfast and it is in the drinking area not far from the main Kokura station or Heiwa-dori station, the hotel was really run down but very clean and everything worked as it should, staff were pleasant, the bed was comfortable and it was remarkably quiet despite the number of rooms so close together. Would highly recommend for a budget stay if you don't mind it being a bit run down.
- The staff was helpful, I can recall even when she was so busy she still cared for customers and asked me if I needed an umbrella, it’s heart warming.
- The staff was very friendly. The location was very convenient to reach major tourist attractions and restaurants as well.
Cons -
- stains carpets, peeling wallpaper and other run down features but if you know to expect that, everything is clean and works well and it was a comfortable stay, just don't expect it to be stylish
- It was too much expensive for the price I paid. I don't think it's worth it. In addition, breakfast was below average, offering only a japanese style. But staff was very friendly.
- The place is old and worn down. Corridor carpets are stained and mouldy. The room ventilation was very poor and we had to open the windows to let in fresh air, otherwise the room would have been extremely stuffy. The front entrance has no elevator to the lobby on the 2 level and we had to walk around the building to the service elevator in the rear of the building in order to get to the lobby with our big luggages. It is an old hotel that relied on a key to open the door, and the one key to turn on all the electricity in the room. It certainly wasn't worth the exorbitant price we paid for the one night stay. We had no choice because of a last minute change of travel plans due to a family emergency.

The breakfast was ok. Staff were nice though. The Japanese communal bath was as expected and good after a long tired day.

Fairly close to Kokura Station
Hotel is really really old. Escalator to the lobby was not working. Room was way overpriced for the condition of the hotel and room. Breakfast was also very sad.
Staff speak English very well to understand the special offer for use
Upper escalator was closed, that's so uncomfortable
Location was not bad.
Facilities and room were old, outdated and dirty.
It had an ofuro hot tub but it was very small so ppl had to wait to wash themselves before getting into the ofuro
The room was not clean - there were hairs on the floor and I had to rewash my glasses before as they were not clean.
not much
Main was the air con was weak and took too long to cool the room.
