Hi - Scene Resort

The pool was nice and had a good view. The rooms were spacious and comfortable.

What actually works here? That’s the real mystery at Hi-Scene.Do the appliances work? Maybe, if you believe in miracles. Does the Internet work? Not unless you count “Connected, No Internet” as functional. Does the TV work? Technically, yes — it turns on, and that’s where the magic ends. Do the employees work? They’re active, just not at solving problems.To be fair, the staff were friendly and clearly busy keeping the grounds clean. Unfortunately, they were also incompetent and dishonest. When we checked in, we immediately noticed the Wi-Fi and TV weren’t working. After 30 minutes fumbling around in our room, it was clear the staff member had no idea how to fix either, and was just wasting our time. Annoying, but forgivable.But here’s where it turned from irritating to unacceptable: we explained that my wife, who works for a major university, had already missed several hours of work and had an important online meeting the next day. We were happy to pay for the first night and move to a new hotel. The staff promised the Wi-Fi worked in another room and moved us there. After a long day of exploring, we returned to another room with no working Internet. Same staff member, same half-hearted fiddling, same lack of result.The first day was understandable. But making promises to fix the issue with no intention or ability to follow through was flat-out dishonest and unacceptable. They caused real damage — lost work, missed meetings, wasted time, energy, and money — yet still refused to offer even a token discount.As for the rooms: Some have decent views, but are mostly blocked by trees.The rooftop terrace was large, but filthy, and completely empty. A missed opportunity. The bathroom had no ventilation, and somehow managed to fill the entire room with an egregiously foul odor. The fridge didn’t work either, just in case you were still clinging to hope.The price? High. The value? Nonexistent.

Great place to relax very quiet and nice scenery. Excellent bed and air-conditioning and the staff so happy and friendly.

They need to improve the room cleanliness, our room were so dusty and moldy smell and caused us very uncomfortable.

It's nice location on a country road is easy to find. All the villas are built on hillside looking over the maintains. Some of the villas have a private parking right at the front door.

Poor maintenance of the property is a pity since it was nicely designed and built and should have been a plus for this resort. Housekeeping forgot to provide a few needed items. Guests should be more satisfied interacting with a competent female reception.

Good breakfast, we loved it. Great view although we stayed at the bottommost of the houses in the resort.Pet friendly, but charge for 400 baht per night per one pet. ( Could reduce or no charge at all because we bring our own bed for our dog)

The base of the bed is made of cement which the corner is too dangerous to hit on in the dark.The sofa bed cover ( cloth) is torn apart and still not fixed. The bath tub water is too cold although we did as the hotel recommendation.Had a few insects crawled in although we were careful when opening the door.
