Beautiful cabins and very nice especially so high up in the mountains and deep in the forest. I think people need to temper their expectations that it's going to be like a city hotel. It's amazing for how remote it is!

Difficult to organize transportation - if you don’t have your own vehicle, you need to take their shuttle. Rides were cut from 2-3/day to 1.Food is expensive for Taiwan standards and the menu is limited, but understandable for how remote the location is.

Great cabin in Ming Chi forest resort. it’s clean and wood small. strong shower flow and electric blanket on bed.
cabin is comfortable and relax, basically located in the national park.
we arrived at 3:00pm but check in at 4:30pm since the room clear wasn’t ne done.
The lady staff member who checked us in was very helpful. Even though both of us had trouble understanding each other she was very friendly and accommodating.
The family room did not have soundproofing so we could hear guests next door. The room had very little natural light, so it was dark and uninviting. The hotel socializing space was located right outside the rooms and I had to tell other guests to be quiet late at night. The location is fairly remote so you could do a day trip rather than overnight in the hotel.
