Grand Boss Hotel

Location

Not clean

Rooms were spacious and clean. Employees were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was good and we had 3 rooms and were very happy with our stay.

Wifi never worked in any of the rooms.

Old style palace, in the city center of Yilan. Quiet enough despite the street and traffic.

Good location close to the train station and night market . Staff were all friendly. Hotel has bicycles available for guests. Overall I thought it was good value and would stay again.

Breakfast options were very limited for Western tastes. The mattress was not uncomfortable, but certainly on the 'firm' side of things (common in Asia). Rooms and fixtures were a little tired and worn, but otherwise functional.

Good location, easy parking, delicious breakfast , nice staff.

Room service was excellent and staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Perhaps the variety of breakfast menu can change on various day, and more kids friendly menu.

Location was excellent , staff was helpful and resources.

Room appears old inside , carpet is dirty. Moldy spot in bathroom .

Very comfortable older hotel which is well maintained. The hotel is beautiful and inn a good central location, close to the bus station and acroccross from the night market.

There is some external noise during waking hours but quiet at night.

The staff very friendly and helpful. The location is good，very near the night market.

The Breakfast always same and and the pork was too salted may not fresh enough.

Great location , good size for the room for family with 2 kids . Staff as well were responsive , provided baby bathtub as well when was we checked in with an infant . Thanks so much !

Good location. Near the station and night market. Plenty of options since there are also a lot of restaurant near the hotel. Very big and nice bathroom.

Small window in the room so not much natural light goes into the room.

Variety of choice for food, nice restaurant to sit down enjoying tasty food, that provide full energy to enjoy the lovely city - Yilan.

I did not experience this time

Location

The musky smell in the lobby and the corridor was over-powering. I think it was smell of mouldiness - bad for the health of guests and staff. I found on last day that the smell was gone - the ventilation was switched on? The bathroom water didn’t drain well - a bit choked

Almost everything. Great location and good breakfast. The bicycles are really convenient to ride around the city.

Nothing much.

The hotel is a short walk from Yilan train station. There are also restaurants nearby. Fantastic choice if one is looking for a convenient location. The room is spacious too.

Good position close to night market

The rooms were very musty like they were damp there were air purifiers in rooms and hallways to clean the air

The Taiwanese-style breakfast was good. Room was clean and spacious. It also had a small carpark beside the hotel. It was also located near the train station and Dongmen night market.

The lights in the room had to be manually switched off one by one. It also had no washing facilities.

Location is superb! Opposite the DongMen night market! Staffs are very helpful and friendly! Breakfast is quite good.

The lights in room is quite dim.

Good location, very near the train station (5-8 mins walk) and directly opposite dongmen night market

Its a very old hotel and smells quite musty. Decor and furniture are all quite old

Very closed to train station and night market.

Clean and friendly.
