Lanyang Seaview Hotel

The bar on the roof was very nice. We had a nice afternoon there.The reception desk staffs were very very kind to answer all our questions.

Though there's facilities for kids and babies (we travel with an one-year-old), but breakfast has no big choice for babies.

Walked from hotel to seaside area and food places along the way. Lots of variety at breakfast to choose from. Guess the hotel tried to improve the lifts operations after all the reviews, so while they are still not coordinated and the lift size was small, we did not have to wait long. Nano milk bath function in tub was a nice touch.Kids play area at the basement was not bad for the rainy day we had. Do note socks are required to enter the ball pit area.

Smelled cigarette smell while enjoying view at balcony.Received 2x cushions at checkout as freebies. But hard to pack those since already checked out. Would be helpful if the cushions were given at check in instead. :)

When I just check in, a used tea bag was found. We informed hotel service staff immediately.

Best hotel I've been to. I love the seaside view from our room. Wokeup early to watch the sunrise. The room is perfect. The breakfast is very good. Will definitely go back.

the elevators are not coordinated. Swimming pool is open a few hours per day and not open in the morning.

Lovely hotel, 25 mins walk to the surf beach but with cafes, Starbucks, etc. in the area. Staff were wonderful. So kind, so friendly.

Note that the last orders for the restaurant is before 7:30, this is not clear from the information provided. At that time, all the local restaurants have closed, so it's easy to get caught out. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful in helping us in this situation.

The room is bright and spacious.

1.The service attitude of the counter staff is not good.2. There is no linkage setting for the elevator, which is not energy-saving and time-consuming.3. The breakfast and dining time is limited to 1 hour. Regardless of the entry time, they are rushed to leave the venue in accordance with the clearance time, which is very dumbfounding.

The room we booked have excellent view for Turtle Mountain island and its exceed our expectantFacility inside the room are also great ,including double washbasin outside the bathroom and coffee-maker.Corner side balcony have a swing ,although a little bit rusted,is another surprise.If having time,the room you can spend the whole.

1. The staff are very friendly and helpful.2. The room is clean with the walls soundproofed well.3. It's within walking distance to the museum and bike routes.

Not a huge problem, but they forgot to hang the shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom. Had to call the front desk to have them sent to the room.

The location is second to none if you plan to visit northern Yilan County. It is right by the small port, and facing Turtle Island. You can get the island view room if you are willing to pay a little bit extra.

Cannot use take out boxes instead of using the breakfast buffet. With a small child we are still skeptical on sharing meals on open space.

The view was exceptional. The room was clean, super large with balcony, even had 2 sets of cozy chairs, and rocking chairs!!

For the higher end price ~ these issues shouldn't happen......1. No cable TV....... I think they had like 10 basic Taiwanese news and advertisement channels, so there was no just laying bed after a long day to watch a movie on HBO, etc.2. Indoor parking wasn't adequate (there were not enough spaces), so people had to park outside on the red lines causing police to come in the morning to give tickets.3. No exercise room4. Pool time was very limited, so many guests could not get time in the pool.5. Elevator wait time was very LONG.

Breakfast was good and the variety was there, both Chinese and western selections. Staff were very helpful and kind.

I didn't see or find a gym or workout area in the building and when I needed something delivered to the room (batteries for a TV remote and wine glasses) it did take some time before they were delivered. These were two separate requests.

Nice view, brand new opened with nice location, 10 mins away from major beach.Love the buffet here as well, fresh seafood, steak and beer, wine all you can drink.Definitely will comeback and visit.

The rooftop wasn’t opened, also no floor sign in the elevator.

The room with sea view is fantastic.
