Pros +

  • Can be social and easy to meet new people. Common area well spread out. Cute and artsy touch throughout the place. The cat!

Cons -

  • The breakfast, yes, the BREAKFAST (my fav time of day) completely ruined my day. Im still processing how I was made to feel. Im writing this because we all deserve to be seen and heard. While there are many great reviews here, this was my experience, and it matters too. Sadly, I had a really upsetting moment around breakfast which, for me, is more than just a meal. Its nurturing, grounding, and something I wont skip. I genuinely look forward to in between work, especially as a solo traveller working remotely from 6am until the afternoon. I have a fixed schedule, and I need to get my breakfast sorted within a 20min ish morning break. If I miss that window, Ill suffer from hunger for hours. Thats why I always go for places with breakfast included. And in the five weeks Ive been in Nepal, Ive never had an issue, in fact, its usually the opposite. That people often try to feed me more or ask if I need anything else because they see Im working. I asked clearly whether the standard breakfast was vegetarian or if not, what part of it wasnt , so we could work something out. but no one gave me a clear answer. They just said, You can have muesli or pancake. I really wanted the standard breakfast and honestly, I dont even like muesli so i asked multiple times if i can have standard breakfast like as in vegetarian. And again i heard i can have muesli, and I didnt want to be the pain, so I said okay. And of course it is okay too until they got me a tiny glass of muesli and a little fruit -maybe three spoonfuls. It felt like a joke. On the top of this, everyone else was getting full plates with toast, eggs, and the exact same muesli I had. I was still hungry af and still had hours of work ahead and needed proper fuel to get through the morning. My work can be intense sometimes I wont find a minute to catch a breath for hours. I wouldnt even feel this mistreated if they made a lil effort to give me a bigger serving of muesli.
