Location is close to the starting point of the safaris. Food is not bad either.

Service is very inconsistent. Checking out took 20 mins and the property didn't issue us an invoice with the goods and service tax information, which is against Indian regulations. All house keeping calls needed atleast one follow-up as the service wasn't executed on time. Looking at the price points of their rooms now, one would expect the services to be in-line or exceed the standards set by other leading 5 star hotel chains in India.

Great location and beautiful property

The safari booking person took our ID and then did not return or leave it reception for us to collect, but took our IDs on a nature walk with a group of….. we did not get our IDs back for many hours!!

Room and facilities were fantabulous. Food was also very good.

They were forcing us to compulsorily jojn the new year party of 31st. They closed all In-Dining and restaurant facilities on 31st night. Pathetic.

Everything. The staff and location was superb. Everyone was very nice and we had a great time while we were there. They made it a point to ensure that we had a memorable trip. The architecture is unique and stunning. The space it very welcoming and warm.

Nothing we liked.

Nothing we liked. Staff is very rude. And no experience how to maintain relation and how to give respect to customer. Nothing is there in their rooms. They hv to visit taj lands,mumbai or oberoi or ITC hotels b4 labling this huge amt. We came after watching ads and photos of this preperty. But felt very bad. In dinner buffet also there are very less items for options. So we are not happy with property. And mainly staff is not good. .. they need to visit Taj, oberoi, and ITCproperty for the hospitality they give to guests.

I recommend you to book pavilion not studio, studio is OK too, but it is just ok while Pavilion is amazing! I booked studio but moved to pavilion - it is bit more expensive but much better.This is one of the best hotels I have ever visited all over the world. Everything was perfect, even non-local food like pasta/pizza were really great.Swadish restaurant also was unforgetable, so I recommend to visit it if you stay in this hotel.

The place is very quiet, good location. Excellent facilities inside and outside of the rooms. Lots of things to do: spa, gym, board games, swimming pool, pottery class, lesson on the hotel's sustainability. Very close to the Lion's sanctuary. And the food was exceptional! From room service menu to the restaurant's a la carte orders: impressive! The waiter, Annil, even remembered our room service order. I don't think I have ever enjoyed the hotel food this much. Fantastic! Really enjoyed everything

I believe the room description says it's wheel chair accessible. It is not. While the villas are on the ground floor, there's no ramp for the wheel chair. There are 3 steps to go up to the room, and 4 steps in the room to go downstairs to the bathroom. Also the rain shower outdoors was not the best experience. It is definitely fun in the daytime, but not in the morning or night-time chills.

roads within property is terrible. gaps between stone slabs is wide enough to precipitate accidental falls. black crockery is terrible. we can not make out whether it’s clean or dirty. staff required training. govt rate of booking Safari to Devalia is ₹3000 (total cost including guides & vehicles ) where as the property staff asked us for ₹8000. whereas even Woods had to make use of govt facilities only. they should guide the customers accurately not to fleece them. I will never visit Woods again. I will not recommend to any one.

Need to train the staff properly at the Dining restaurant area. Cart service was not available at 9.30pm on 13th October 2021. Have to wait for 50 minutes for Stay letter for taking liquor permit.

Overall - We enjoyed the full experience. Great points about it:1) Property has been done up really well. It was extremely comfortable to stay. The room (Pavilion rooms) were quite spacious and luxurious.2) We were very happy to see the thoughts into sustainability such as glass water bottles, glass bottles for shower gel, using bamboo cutlery etc. so that less plastic is used.3) Good activities for kids - pottery was really enjoyable and the person doing it was very talented. Also enjoyed the edible garden activity.4) The staff were extremely friendly and courteous throughout. They were willing to help out wherever they can.

Small things to improve that could lead to even better experience: 1) For the charges - I felt the breakfast was a little underwhelming. The quality was decent - not exceptional. I was expecting a little more variety and quality needs to be upped a little.2) This is true across the meals at Terracotta restaurant and in-room dining as well. The food had fair taste. However the quality could be upped a little bit to go into the premium bracket since most people don't have other options of food nearby available easily. We could not try the Gujrati fare at Swadesh restaurant and so no reviews on that.3) The mango bar drinks were average. The people working the bar (ofcourse non-alcoholic drinks) didn't have a clear idea of proportions. Sometimes the drinks were too sweet. Again some small focus there could help improve that too.

Amazing Breakfast. Food selection was adequate. They also provide customised breakfast as per your needs, which was really amazing. The location of the property is extremely private, once you enter the property you don't feel the need to get out of it. Ample activities on site available. Children really love the Siddi Badshah Dances performed every weekend. There are 3 restaurants on the property serving multi cuisine and Gujarati Thali. Theres also a pool side bar serving non-alcoholic beverages. There is also a permit room in the property to purchase your alcohol.

This property when built must be a very serene due to it's natural set up. The staff is very courteous and try their best to meet property standard ( this property claims they are 5 star). Rooms are spacious. The food in all their restaurant is excellent.

We had 4 meals during our 2 days stay, and during each meal the cutlery we found was not clean, you can see food on cutlery. You can find stein on table cloth from the previous guest. You can see food on the floor( it is not cleaned). The bath room's ambience is not great, you can find stains everywhere in the bathroom.

I have booked through booking.com website and I was a bed experience through selection photos were wrongly upload on his site. On dated 11/02/2021 when I was booked the room there was photos on web site is uploaded wrong.w.e I want to book studio upstairs room and I booked with site photos and when I was check in I see to saw bad filling I was offered studio with personal terrace room , I was call to reception about the matter and he will change the photos through booking.com website immediate.I was bad filling to face overall booking criteria which is handle with booking.com site .I surprised to feel overall that such a big and well known property which customer suffering from selection booking site wrong information.When we complain he was change his mistake !

Slow service time. This was because of less number of staff, although the staff was very attentive and took care of us really well.

The menu in the restaurant was limited, there were no activities for kids either nor anything pertaining to the wild life.
