Anil Farms Gir Jungle Resort

The rooms are big and spacious including the bathroom. Great place for a stay in Gir and centrally located to both Sinh Sadan and Devalia park. Staff was helpful and polite. Easy access to the river from the property to see some Crocodiles and other native wildlife,

The access road to the farm is an issue.

Last 1.4 km of road was kachha road full of bumps, not fit for small car

Anil farms is located 15 mins from the Gir Safari entrance. We were 3 of us and used family room which was well furnished. Washrooms were clean. Ambience was good. It is within a mango farm and a river Hiran flows close by. Good spacious, comfortable rooms and good value for money.

Food could have been less oily; They customize the food served and reduced oil when asked for. The approach road could have been better.

The food was amazing, the location next to the river was excellent (I saw crocodiles and spotted deer from my room), customer service was wonderful, and they arranged transit to and from the safaris for me. I loved walking around the property in my free time and exploring the river and the mango museum.

Comfortable stay, good staff & service. Super spacious rooms with a huge balcony.Property is well maintained & hygienic.You can hear birds chirping all the time which is quite relaxing.Few steps & you reach the beautiful flowing Hiran river & even spot crocodiles on the opposite side. Don't worry it's safe.Food is tasty. Spread is limited but qualitative. Provides good variety.10-12 mins by car to the wildlife sanctuary entrance.Only the approach towards the resort from the highway which is approx 800m is unpaved but that is not the property's issue.

Comfortable bed, wonderful gardens, helpful staff. We loved seeing the crocs at the River and the mango show

Nothing to dislike.

The place was very relaxing, the staff were very helpful, we ate our meals there and I am sensitive to chilli and so they made some dishes especially for me which was so great. We came with our Yorkie and they were very good with him. We had a small issue with the rooms but as soon as we complained about it we were upgraded to the newer section and then everything was great.The crocodiles were very interesting to see.

I would have liked a proper coffee, cappuccino or latte, I missed my coffee because instant coffee is not great.

Our room had a river-side facing. Could watch crocodiles from the balcony. Wake up to chirping of birds of different kind. The mango museum is a must-see. Every tree is well-documented and numbered. Has one of the biggest bathrooms ever seen for a resort/hotel. Approach is a bit rough as it is through forest land, apparently. But, small compromise to make.

The food was excellent, loved it. They provide different homestyle Gujrati dishes for each meal, which are healthy and very tasty.

1) The approach Road was very bumpy and rough.2) They don't have free WiFi facilities in rooms . It's only available in the dining area and reception. 3)Also, it's difficult for NRIs to pay by credit/debit cards or internet bank transfer as they have poor internet.. So, NRIs should be ready to pay by cash.

Proper is very well maintained, super clean and big rooms.

Clean, spacious room. Nice, silent area in countryside. Staff helped us to arrange autoriksha to reach a Safari starting point at 6:00. (300INR one way, 500INR both way). Moreover they waited for us with breakfast. Lots of options for breakfast and dinner. We really enjoyed staying there.

Everything was perfect, beyond our expectation. The manager and the staff there is extremely cordially and amazed by the farm and what and how they grow mangoes. Appreciate them explaining the process and the place was extremely well labelled and rooms were well kept

We stayed there for two nights. As we were late in reaching at night, hotel personnel guided the way to hotel over phone continuously. Dining hall was open and staffs were eagerly waiting for us. Family room was very much spacious.

Approach road is forest road.
