    Pros +

    • Staff and her family were very friendly and hospitable. It was a nice and quite place.
    • Their French Pressed Coffee’s superb. Coffee is a must for me, but I don’t settle for just any coffee. It’s one of the best joe’s I had. I loved the garden, very ideal for a wedding. The rustic vibe, the coziness. We’ll definitely go back.
    • I love the ambience of this charming old house and their staff was warm and very accommodating! The owner was also easy to communicate with through email and text messaging. I recommend this place for people who love the quiet and country feels.

    Cons -

    • The route going there, it’s a bit tricky, but it’s been a journey really.
    • We stayed in a room on the attic, which I actually preferred, but I did not know I had to go down 2 or 3 flights of stairs to get to the toilet and bathroom! Also, the room upstairs is not comfortable during the day because the air conditioning is not adequate enough to cool the attic.
    • Totally not what I expected. Classic example of Expectation vs Reality. Overpriced. For a price of Php4,560/night (does not include any meals) we were cramped in a tiny room. Did not expect that it was a transient/boarding house style accommodation. Photos would make you think you will have your own unit (porch living area, kitchen dining, etc) when in reality you will be cramped in a tiny room. Thr ambience gives off a haunted house vibe with its maximalist interior design/ theme. (The only thing missing are cobwebs albeit the decors are dusty).Comfort rooms are tiny and uncomfortable. The owner could use a training in customer service. Save your money, get your money's worth. I Definitely do not recommend this place.

Our stay could never be as comfortable. The people are also very helpful and approachable. Madie's Place felt like exactly what it should be- home. The place is quiet, peaceful, and has an ambiance of a country farm. We enjoyed every bit of our time. Will definitely stay here again! ?

The very nice staff, the garden, swing and their breakfast, best coffeee!

They said with private toilet but didn’t indicate it was located downstairs. Overall I’m still satisfied.
