- It’s close to the beach. Good air conditioning and fans and fairly modern fixtures and fittings.
- Decided to stay here for 1 night. The price was very reasonable and it does not look like some kind of cheap hotel. The hotel is very new and the area is well designed. It feels like we were in Spain or Europe. Very surprised by how convenient the location is. It just took us 15 mins walk to SunWorld theme park and 7mins walk to the night market and bazaar. Took GRAB for other destinations and always reached in less than 10mins.
- Me and my husband decided to take a short trip to Halong to explore the city. Stayed at the hotel for 1 night and it's a very value for money hotel. It's very new and clean. The location is near to most of the attractions that we planned to visit. Hotel staff even helped us to order local breakfast which was very nice. Very suitable for a short trip with partner or friends
Cons -
- Room seemed like it wasn’t quite ready. Empty bottle of hand soap and no toilet paper. The bathroom also had a constant odd smell maybe due to the plumbing, I don’t know if this is down to the hotel or an issue in the area generally. The bed sheets were also stained with blood and no house keeping service was provided despite us staying for 4 nights. The man running the hotel seemed nice enough and always tried his best to help but he seemed a bit lost and confused at points. The hotel is located in a bit of a dead area many of the other buildings in the street are left empty, generally I wouldn’t recommend staying in Ha long it’s seems to be a bit of a Benidorm or Cancun type place for Vietnamese tourists, and I’d say not even as good as the places I’ve mentioned.
