Pros +
- I came here for the Halong Bay Marathon, and honestly this hotel was a godsend. Unlike the usual ~200 sq ft rooms you get in Hanoi, our room here was a spacious 400 sq ft — and at a super affordable rate too. It made the stay so much more comfortable. The TV could connect to YouTube and Netflix, which was a nice touch. The shower water was consistently warm as well (unlike some hotels where the hot water comes and goes). They also serve breakfast from 6–9am daily. While the taste wasn’t mind-blowing, the spread had local staples like fried rice, pho, and stir-fried noodles — perfect for carbo loading before the race. The location was another big plus. The hotel is right next to a hypermarket, so we could easily grab all our race prep supplies. It’s also conveniently close to the exhibition centre — around a 20-minute walk or 12-minute jog — which was the marathon’s starting point. And of course, shoutout to the reception staff. They were friendly, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care that we had a good stay. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel (especially for fellow marathon runners haha) if you’re in the area.
- Huge room. We had a good view on the 8th floor. Hard bed. Big TV but does not have Netflix. Not much food around, only seafood restaurant and a Thai Restaurant. The breakfast they gave us every morning when we stayed there was the soup that they sold in front of the hotel. It is a shame that they have a nice room but its service is not. Slow wifi.
- Beautiful large windows spotless. Staff were lovely
Cons -
- The soundproofing wasn’t great. We could hear noise from the corridor, and unfortunately, on the night before our race, a big group of inconsiderate tourists checked in. They were shouting in the hallways, slamming doors, the whole package. Just our luck right before race day lols.As for breakfast, while the spread was overall fine, the fruits weren’t covered and there were fruit flies swarming around them — not the best sight first thing in the morning. Thankfully, the rest of the food was covered in trays.
- - The kitchen staff (waitress) was not professional by ignoring the guest's request, they did not ask the guests if they would like to have anything for breakfast or even introduce or inform the guest which will have for today. Example : someone couldnt eat seafood, onion,... anything , they should have done it before brought the food to the guests. Note that the food they served us is from the restaurant down on the street , really bad service - Outside the hotel is very dirty as they are fixing and renovating the road.- Television is not working for channels, bluring , couldnt see anything , but could work for youtube - Hot water you need to wait for a long time, very inconvenient- Dirty and dusty lobby and restaurant areas- The location is far away from everything, just nearby one supermarket and a minimart, if you want to find a restaurant you have to walk around few kilometersFinally, I do not recommend this hotel to anyone

This was an extremely pleasant stay for both my mother and I. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The building is very modern, clean and had everything that we were looking for. Close proximity to the promenade where you can go for walks and runs! We were also spoilt for choice with amazing restaurants just down the road. I highly recommend visiting and staying a couple nights, we wish we had stayed longer and will definitely be back.
