SUNRISE MOTEL

Great location if you need a place to stay the night before or after your cruise in Ha Long. We had taken a sleeper bus and arrived at 4am and they were up to check us in.

The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. Their daughter went out of her way to help us book a bus to Sapa and kindly let us wait in the lobby until the shuttle bus arrived. Their hospitality made us feel very comfortable and well taken care of.

The staff helped us book a driver for a day after the cruise which was nice. The room was very large compared to the cost.

Favorite part was the loving and warm hosts and family who went out of their way to welcome us warmly, support us in all our bookings and plans, and cared after me when I fell with a mild cold. Highly recommend this motel for comfortable stay, on the island where it is quieter. We ended up extending our stay as we weren't sure of our plans, and had a wonderful time. Even though the hosts didn't speak English, they went out of their way to help translate and provide us info. The rooms themselves, beds were large and comfortable.

Stayed for few hours only as arrived from Ha Giang to Ha Long Bay at 4am. My cruise check in was 11am. Motel allowed for late check in and it’s situated about 5 min away from all the cruises. Great value for money.

The owners were extremely kind and the rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. They were empathetic to my cousin and her boyfriend who had a stomach virus. We’re glad we found this hotel to recuperate.

The room was spacious and clean and near to the harbour

Everything was just right! NO...PERFECT!!!The room was large, the bath clean, tv and (for me important) the bed semi hard. WOW.The hosting family is just wonderful and warm-hearted...and does everything to make you happy and rend your stay comfortable and magic

Located in a new developed area, the room is large and super clean. The owns couple are very nice, do the best to help you on your trip. The place is nice and quite, but inexpensive.

Was perfect for a stay before boat trip in Halong Bay. Really friendly host. Really nice beds and the room was really big. I think it's brand new.

The space was modern and new. The owners were super friendly and lovely, they let us in the room so early and help us with everything. If you need a place for a one day trip to Ha long bay this is perfect.

Super clean, friendly staff and perfect for what we needed. No negatives about the hotel at all, but there isn’t much on Tuan Chau apart from the cruise departures - which is what we went for.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, this hotel is spotlessly clean, modern, quiet and close to all amenities. But what made it for us was the kind and generous nature of the hosts, who welcomed us like old friends. The food here is delicious, using many home grown ingredients straight out of their garden. The fruit and yoghurt for breakfast was a favourite. This place is a ten out of ten and it was very hard to leave. We hope to be back one day.

This stay was great and would recommend to anyone wanting to stay close to hub for Cat Ba island & Halong bay ferry. Wonderful friendly and helpful family willing to overcome any language barrier to assist in anyway possible

Local restaurants are quite expensive and not much variety, Halong town has more variety and easily accessible by Taxi or rental motorcycle/scooter

Stayed overnight before our cruise in Halong Bay. Comfortable, clean, and excellent value. The owners were very hospitable and catered to our needs while we were there.

There are not very many options for restaurants in the area.

Hotel close to the marina, very clean, everything new. Rooms very big. The owners are very nice retirees who are able to arrange cheaper trips on Ha Long Bay. Unfortunately, they do not speak English at all, but the owner is a master of Google Translate, so you can quickly communicate in any language (e.g. direct translation from Vietnamese to Polish). You can go sightseeing with the owner to the center of Ha Long (the attractions are scattered throughout, so it would be difficult to do it on your own), for the price of fuel. Delicious breakfasts, e.g. homemade yogurt with fruit, are second to none. Green tea (and others) are wonderful. Everything is excellent. It is really worth supporting this nice family.

Great location, wonderfully quiet place and extremely nice owners. We definitely recommend taking this accommodation on Tuan Chau Island in Ha Long.
