The Tides Hotel Boracay

Very clean rooms. Its not 5 star but the best 4 star ever.

The staff were amazing and extremely accommodating to our every need. The guy who came with us on the transfer to the airport was invaluable and made it so easy. The location was perfect! Food was delicious!

Honestly I can't fault the place.

The gym was good, well equipped, clean, nice PT trainer there.

Location was loud, in the middle of the mall.

The location of The Tides was amazing. Right in the Dmall and was central to all the shops, stalls, restaurants, bars and white beach. The staff were absolutely amazing especially our porter Abi. He fetched us from the port and travelled with us on the boat and onwards to the hotel. He certainly did a lot of heavy lifting with our 2 suitcases and stroller.The rest of the staff were warm and welcoming and accommodated us at every turn. I asked for 2 rooms to be located next to each other and they delivered. The bartenders and live musicians were great and so interactive. I’d definitely stay here again. The Tides really pays attention to the small details.

Location too noisy at night from restaurant with music and singing. Bed not comfortable, pillows as light as feathers. Dripping sound from the ceiling woke you up.

The best location where restaurants and shops are all walking distance. The rooms were very spacious and clean as well as the bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is a very short walk to the beach front which is really great. The air-conditioning and refrigerator was in great working condition.

The noise from the slamming of their hard to close doors, the band on the roof deck who often played past 10 p.m., the footsteps of the guests from the room above us, and the lack of PWD facilities like an elevator. The amenities were a bit sparse like only 1 teaspoon was provided for 2 cups in the room and no facial tissue was provided. Despite all these, we will still return to this hotel.

location is great, and convenient to food and shops and the beach itself. the place is clean and comfortable. the ones with veranda is well lit and spacious. value for money. staff are helpful and polite.

maintenance may need to be improved e.g. the bidet is leaking so theres a puddle accumulation in the toilet and water is wasted. the doors security features is good but because the door is not smoothly aligned and need to be fully closed in order to avoid the security alarm, often hotel guests needs to shut the door hard making a lot of loud banging sound within the hotel.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. It is not beach front but it is a minute or two away from the beach. The happy hour at the rooftop was good and cheap. A lot of good food options around and near the hotel. It is also better to buy souvenirs near the hotel rather than the shops the are on the beach. The transport they arranged from the airport to the hotel and vice versa was smooth, I recommend getting transfer from them.

The price of coke in can is 140 pesos. I guess that is hotel price for you.

Location was great, and air conditioned restaurant helped when waiting for our room.

The beds were not clean. Sand in the sheets and AC was leaking on me as I was sleeping.

I don't know what to say about the swimming pool but it's not well maintained there's mold in one place the hotel is poorly maintained

Woke up every morning by noise at 6:30 a.m. it was not relaxing the room given next to the staff or reserved moreover it was not clean the next day it was better cleaned the stay was not relaxing

Very conveniently located in g*mall by station 2. The staff were always friendly with a smile and greeting. They had a very cost effective laundry service.

The facilities are just ok but when we stayed there it was raining so that may have impacted our experience.

Bathroom had seepage and smelled terrible... Floor tiles were damp and cold. Shower head and holder broken. Not enough towel bars and hooks. No bathroom mats. No hair dryer.

It's impossible to make the room dark

Close to everything! The staff are very nice . We stayed during typhoon Kristine and they made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We definitely had fun at their pelican bar! Their singers are amazing!

The sink is located outside of the bathroom. It wasn’t a deal breaker but it could be a mess especially with the kiddos

I loved the location right in D-Mall. It was very convenient to step out and go to the beach and the restaurants. The bed was wonderful.. made for a peaceful sleep. I like the environmental attributes of the hotel.. eg. no lift and communal water funtains for fresh water. The staff were very friendly shout out to Ann on the front desk. Everyone was truly into the wellbeing of the clients. The pool is amazing clean.

The rooftop bar doesnt reflect whats in the pictures.. Might have been because of the Typhoon that went through. None of the nice colourful seating was evident.

Two things:1) I love the location! It saves you bucks because you don’t always have to pay for a tricycle every time you want to visit the restaurants and bars in station 2. Best part — they have a partnership with one of the nice bars in station 2! 2) The staff is amazing. We also availed their service of airport pick up AND IT WAS THE BEST THING WE DID because we didn’t have a hard time getting to the place.

Just a few insects. That’s all.

We did not avail of the breakfast buffet or alacarte

There a lot of structural defects - floor tiles that are squeaky because of water underneath them, seeping rain water that passes through the terrace sliding doors (lacks sealant), shower frame that lacks sealant which causes the toilet part to be drenched in water which may cause an accident, wall paint that has bubbled due to water seeping through cement, slippery floors due to lack of platform shelters from the storm and rains.
