Pros +

  • The location was great, in a very central part of the island and right in front of the beach. We got the family room and it was nice, each person had their own bed and a little bit of space
  • It's right on the beach
  • It was nice because it was beachfront, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the room was very spacious for our family.

Cons -

  • Our 5 bed- room only had 1 toilet.
  • Next door is a club that pumps out booming bass until 2/3am. Then around 5am the kitchen noises start and locals on the beach start calling out. The rooms are in need of serious maintenance, including a balcony door that didn't shut properly and can't be locked. No room service either.
  • They need a comforter for their blanket…

Terrible. I want to know if there is health/human services in Philippines. It would condemn.

No Cable TV. The cable was out and could not be repaired until a week after New Years. I was hoping to see the NCAA football playoffs. The floorboards in the rooms were dry-rotted and you were not allowed to wear shoes! That is right, take your shoes off downstairs and go barefoot because of sand, even though the sand fell between the floorboards. The ceiling was just tree stems. At night, if the light was on upstairs, it shown right through the ceiling. The major problem was the air quality. Heavy dust, mildew and MOLD!!!! 4 of 5 of us became ill. It ruined the vacation. Lots and lots of mosquitoes and ants. Due to the shoddy construction, it was very loud. The walls and floors/ceilings were just not solid. The sliding door to the balcony did not lock. No safe deposit box. Cannot even go swimming without wondering about your money and valuables. And it was built on top of a fast food restaurant (Army/Navy). It was unusually warn above the kitchen and no smoke detectors. We had room 6. This place needs to be condemned, We looked for other vacancies with no luck.

- The location is the best thing there . It opens through the general Boracay beach and almost at the centre of all hotels. Near the drop on and off the trip boats.- The staff were fine. - A very delicious restaurant is located below the property (named ARMY NAVY). That was the best thing as it was reasonably priced.

- The place needs more work. Its old woody hut style. - Two floor house-hut with 1 toilet that was leaking and tight, and its exhaust fan was out of order.- The TV was out of order, and they promised to fix it (we stayed 2 days without it).- The roles of the place are surprisingly funny. We were not allowed to go up (firat floor) with our shoes, we have to leave it outside. They count towels upon leaving the place. The front desk staff had to rwad all of the R&R before admission to the property.- The property beds were ok, but the bed sheets were very old (as if never changed for months). We informed the staff to change it on the first night, but they ignored our request. - The place has no porter or helper. We had to carry all our heavy luggage from the main road till up to our rooms (most of the hotels around it have concierge service.- They have free Wifi but are very slow and unstable

Beach front, close to everything. You’ll get what you pay for.

I got locked up inside my room when doorknob broke cause it’s too old. Safety deposit or locker will be a great addition. They only provided thin bed sheet even AC is too cold. Nobody knows in the island the hotel exists. I need to tell them I stay in the Army Navy.

Hotel is beach front

They dont have a working POS where i can use my mastercard for payment..they insist on cash payment only on such a big amount..no other option available..I guarantee my payment during booking using my mastercard which i cannot use it the hotel.

The location as it's a front-sea view within the station with accessible shops and restaurants.

It's dilapidated—old facilities with exposed nails, uneven wood, and tiled flooring. You can hear noises day and night when walking, and be extra careful, as you may hurt yourself. There are no showerheads and you have to use buckets to shower.

Location wise, excellent!!! It’s right across the beach; it’s in a more quieter part out of all the stations. It’s in between Station 1 & Station 2. The rooms can accommodate a large family or a group. It has 6 beds and 3 levels with balcony overlooking the beachfront. Pretty nice and decent! Love love love this place! They also have their own restaurant which serves good food! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! A+++++++

There’s nothing not to like about the property. Our stay was all worth it!=)

A few step away is the white sand of the beach of Boracay! The perfect location where it is in between in Station 1 & 2 of Boracay. It is a central location for a night life, resto and bar

Old towels

BOROCAY is beautiful, this property is located right on the beach in between station 1&2. Close to the action yet still quiet. Gorgeous sunsets in front of the room. We chose the seaview room.Basic room, but had good WiFi, aircon and hot and cold water available on the landing.Nice staff

All good if you want location as opposed to luxury at affordable price

7JamesPosted on: 7-8-2024

The location was great and convenient

The staff were pretty much hands off unless asked for assistance. Also, they did not make it clear that their rooms are above the ArmyNavy food place.

Location

There are a lot of mosquitoes in the hallway and some in the room too.It would be good if there is a bidet in the toilet.

10JindeePosted on: 6-23-2024

I like everything, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The place is very beautiful, very cozy, ideal for big families, it's in Station 1 and beach front. Close to stores, restaurants and d'mall. This place is awesome, you also get a discount from Army Navy when you buy. We will definitely come back and stay here over and over again. This is our new favorite spot in Boracay!!

The wifi in other family rooms are pretty fast except for family room 2, there were some spots in the room where the wifi was very slow and only loading.

Located in between station 1 and 2; beachfront; simple/minimalist interior design; early check in was available; breezy airport to hotel transfer and vice versa (separate booking); shower with heater; no security guard but our bags were safe all throughout the stay.

Staff didn't initiate to offer replacement of towels, floor mats and mugs, we had to ask. There was also a confusion on the payment as they wanted cash instead of charging it to my credit card (which was used for booking). Anyway, it was sorted immediately.

As mentioned this is a 2 star hotel, but is great. Super clean and cozy, nice little balcony with sea view, nice personel, the rate reflects the reality for what it is, even if it is not super modern renovated.

7AnnalouPosted on: 5-3-2024

Beach front

The property is not soundproof. During our stay, there was an event outside the hotel. Our family was not able to sleep properly due to the loud sound of the music festival that happened last May 1, 2024.The receptionist is not that accommodating.

9MariaPosted on: 4-22-2024

- Location is right by Army Navy. Super convenient going to the restaurants- Room is spacious- There's walis in the room so you can sweep the sand on the floor- There are many hooks in the room- There's a balcony with ocean view- Bed is really comfortable- Water dispenser available so we can get cold water anytime

- Bar music from next door can be heard inside the room itself quite clearly. We are used to music/noise when sleeping so ok for us but I can see other people not being able to sleep from it- Curtains are of light color and fabric so the room is bright along with the sunrise- There were times when there was no one at the reception
