Sea Wind Resort

it’s old and rustic, renovations needed for improvement, also there’s no room service that’s one thing missing in their services

Seawind is probably the only resort in Boracay with a lot of trees. The kids could swim anytime they wanted to without us worrying they would get sunburn because of the trees.

Excellent location and very friendly staff — you can feel the hospitality right from the moment you arrive.I stayed here for a workation, so a stable internet connection was important for me. The Wi-Fi in the room was not perfect, but near the beach and in the common areas the internet worked very well, so I was able to work comfortably there.The breakfasts were good: the selection was not very large, but everything was tasty and fresh.The rooms may not be the newest, but this did not affect our overall experience at all. We were completely satisfied — for the price, this place is absolutely top.We are already planning a trip for next year and hope to stay here again.

Nicest property on White beach in terms of beachfront. It’s has the widest frontage on the beach at the widest party of the beach. Very chill atmosphere and easy walk to great restaurants and bars. Also close to the pier where most of the water activities start. Rooms were spacious and I loved the traditional decor. The restaurant and beach bar are reasonably priced. Do your homework as some of the rooms are on a part of the property across the road from the beach. Luckily we were able to upgrade as I had booked the wrong side of the road. There is a very small and slightly neglected museum on the property, but there are actually some amazingly old artifacts in it.

Recommend that you sign for any meals bar chits daily so there aren’t any mix ups.

The room was spacious and cozy — we really enjoyed our stay! I loved how close it was to the grotto, and the staff were all nice and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was decent too.

There was a puddle of water near my room leading to the dining area, and the moss made the path a bit slippery. It was a bit worrying since I had senior citizens with me who might slip and fall. The sitting area outside my room also couldn’t be used when it was raining. I tried working using my laptop there, but it wasn’t possible since it could get wet. It would’ve been nice to enjoy my coffee and a smoke while working, but the rain made that impossible.The à la carte food options could also be improved, especially considering the prices. We ordered grilled squid and got four small pieces, each only about two inches long. For the price, we were expecting larger portions.

Room could use more lighting inside. It was a bit dark.

Breakfast was good, food was cold most days (bacon/pancakes/beans) Fresh pandesal every day was great as was the fresh fruit.Bar snacks were good as was the ice cold beer.Room was very good, great space, garden area where we stayed was very tranquil most of the time. Beds were great.

Cold food at breakfast.Fridge too good, froze all the beer first week. Road noise when sitting outside was a bit disturbing.Tuk tuk drivers overcharge tourists by about x3, cost isn't excessive but be fair to everyone.

Location, staff, beach front seats and swimming pool

Outdated room. Small TV. But that is nitpicking..

Seawind is our home away from home in Boracay. Everytime we are there, we feel like we are visiting family. The staffs are very friendly and accommodating. You can’t beat the location - beachfront and less crowded.Food is like homecooked meal and since my son has allergies, they make sure he is accommodated. This is our 3rd stay and Sea Wind Never disappoint!

What we don’t like is not able to stay longer! 5 days is not enough.

Staff and location

This room and complex is billed as a 4 star, at best it is a 1 star budget hotel. Rooms were tired and in desperate need of revamp, breakfast was poor and not appealing. We paid a lot of money for this stay and we were bitterly disappointed with the state of the room, avoid!!!!

liked the fact it was right on the beach, the food was very good, the staff were very attentive

the pool near the beach was constantly full of children, alot of the nearby properties were closed and very run down.

Staff and Location

This place is run down and in desperate need of a revamp. Rooms are shabby, dated and not functional. Breakfast was poor quality with very limited choice, we paid a lot of money for this hotel and it is Budget Standard at best. We were bitterly disappointed with this hotel.

Nice location - but we knew that having been to Boracay a number of times before. The breakfast was pretty good.

Disappointed with the view. The place has seen better days and is need of a refurbishment. I have had much better value in other resorts. Boracay has been overdeveloped and has lost it idyllic character, even after the enforced clean-up it is still dirty. I first visited in early 1992, when there wasn't a single telephone on the island and the white beach really was white.

Rustic and old-school Filipino style accommodations with an awesome beachfront. Better than all the newer expensive resorts in Station1.

We had the deluxe beachfront room and it was not very soundproof.

The place was pretty good. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The food was excellent. Far away from the madding crowd but close enough to walk to shopping and restaurants.

We booked an ocean view room but there wasn't much to see from the 3rd floor, but a narrow view of the beach. The view was obstructed by another building in front. I guess that was better than the 2nd floor which had absolutely no view.

One of the few really tropical-vibed resort places in Boracay. A really good feel for vacation and relaxation. Facilities, location and service are all excellent.

It really could use repairs, repainting, here and there to make the place really looking new and fresh each time.

I did like my room location and the view from the balcony. The room set up was nice and worked well for what I needed. WiFi was throughout the facility, some areas were better other for using WiFi.

There really wasn't a window in my room except for a frosted window which only allow light in. Therefore, I couldn't see anything from my room unless I went outside on my balcony. Even though they had WiFi throughout the facility, I did have a hard time receiving and sending emails at times unless I stay in certain spots.
