Frendz Hostel Boracay

Nice place and great staff! Highly recommend if you're traveling to Boracay

It is a short walk to the beach and shops. The rooms are a good size.

Every room should have a fridge and safe. The bar could offer cheaper drinks and specials.

The staff of the hostel are all friendly and nice and the accommodation is clean and comfortable

The staff at Frendz is amazing, the hospitality and friendliness was outstanding. We were a group of 11 and stayed for 6 days, enjoyed every bit! The nightly get together, activities and vibe of the hostel alone was so welcoming and fun. Would highly recommend if you are travelling with a group or open to meeting other travellers!

The hostel was very comfortable, with a welcoming and friendly staff. The food was good, and the location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach and all the main attractions. We also loved the social atmosphere where we met many new friends.

There wasn’t anything significant that we disliked during our stay.

Such a nice place! So easy to make friends as a solo traveler. Lots of excursions you can join, and the staff is so lovely. The food is amazing and there is many options, also for vegetarians.

Nothing, maybe mosquitoes but that’s uncontrollable. Maybe pest control could be done.

We had a lovely little bungalow to ourselves - more like a hotel than a hostel. Lively bar area but still quiet in the bedroom.

The location is good however it is on a very dark alleyway and i would not walk in from the beach side alone in the dark as it was very dodgy. This is not the hotels fault but they should go about getting the street lit up. All puddles, lose wires, rubbish etc.

I messaged them prior that I want a corner bed and when I arrived my request was granted. Thanks to the kind and welcoming staffs of this hostel. It’s my first time since I only needed a place to sleep for 1 night.

It was an incredible experience to stay at Frendz hostel Boracay. The staff were pleasant and friendly. They made their guest's comfort a priority. It is very clean, and the majority of the guests are foreigners from different country. There is a party every night. ? I was transferred from another room with a bathroom inside and high-speed air conditioning. I will definitely return and book at the same hotel for my next travel trip in Boracay. ??

Unfortunately the food is awful. Don't think I've ever not finished a pizza in my life. The only reason it can't be a 10.

I stayed in a dormitory type room and I was impressed that it was still spacious even if there are 5 bunk beds and each bed has its own curtain for privacy. Another thing I liked is that, aside from the shared comfort room inside the room, there are other comfort rooms (male/female) outside. Also, the property is only minutes away from the beachfront. And they host events (i.e. open mic, bingo,…) every night which is sooo fun and great way to meet other guests!

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at.The dorm was super comfortable and clean, and they made my bed every day.The room had lockers with padlocks, and the bed had a hanger to keep your things.It also had air conditioning and a fan.There was no bathroom in the room, but that wasn’t a problem for me.The hostel has a great atmosphere—every night, they organize activities that make socializing super easy, but everything wraps up by 11-12, so you can still get a good night’s sleep.The food at the restaurant is amazing! I had breakfast, lunch, and dinner there almost every day.They also organize all the tours, which makes everything really convenient.It’s very close to the beach and the shopping mall, as well as the popular party spots. Perfect location!

Rooms were nice and the location is perfect. Definitely a party hostel so noise till late, but other than that I enjoyed it a lot

The dorm was clean and comfortable, with a curtain and a little shelf and light right next to the bed which is nice. I also enjoyed having a bathroom attached to it. The lady at the check-in counter was helpful and lent me an adaptor to be able to charge my phone.

I rarely take the time to post a review but my experience here was so different from what I had read in the comments here that I had to.When you get there you will think you are mistaken when walking into the hostel's street given how shady and unappealing it looks.Regarding the "Frendz" atmosphere, no one from the staff greeted me or introduced me to anyone, or even mentioned the activities. It is possible to connect with people as most of them are open to it if you want to but that's entirely left up to you. There were activities supposed to take place at 8:30 PM but both times it turned out being karaoke with super loud volume and people shouting into the mic until 11 PM. Thank goodness it stopped at that time. The staff at the restaurant was about as smiley as a prison guard.I found it annoying that there was no water fountain as you had to ask the staff to fill up your water bottle each time you were thirsty...The food was good but a bit overpriced, expect to spend almost $10 for a nice breakfast for example.There are scheduled power outages and during that time every hotel turns on it's huge power generator which is very noisy. Woke up around 5:30 AM and was kept awake from then on.This brings us to the last part which cannot be blamed on the hostel: Boracay itself: way too crowded, not authentic, algae on the beach, my advice is to skip it all together but that's not the topic here.

Clean and good enough privacy but not isolating, which you want in a hostel!

Sometimes a little cold with the aircon, but that’s more the people you are sharing the room with.

Amazing staff and location, food is also very good. Very social, perfect for solo traveler
