The location was excellent as the hotel was a 2 to 5 minute walking distance to everything such as restaurants and the train station.

The room was a bit small. As an international traveler who works online, the phone which claimed it had a LAN, it did not work. The WI-FI was very strong.

We loved the location. You could walk to stores and restaurants and 7-11's. We loved the Onsend hot springs and the offer of free soup and ice cream. We loved the Yukata (pj's) and slippers provided for every occupant.

I cant think of any improvements necessary.

The onsen was amazing, the view from the top floor at sunrise so peaceful. The massage chair - oh, so perfect. The room was completely ? for us and so quiet!!

Nothing, no complaints.

The breakfast buffet was amazing and delicious! Our room was very clean. We had excellent water pressure in the shower.

The beds were very firm, and the room was pretty small.

This is a very lovely hotel in Kawasaki. It is very modern and has a huge area on the top floor where you can work or relax.The laundry is free . The hotspring is lovely. We always enjoy Dormy Inns and there extras like ice cream and noodles!The room was not huge but adequate. It is a easy walk to the main station in Kawasaki. The breakfast buffet has lots of choice both Japanese and Western.

The breakfast buffet was excellent and interesting and the hot spring pool on the top floor was most relaxing. Would definitely go to Dormy Inn again. Also, the connected 7-11 was a plus!

We loved the spacious rooms a very big bath and shower room in our hotel room! Perfect for 2 people. I LOVED the relaxation room and the PJs they provided. The view is beautiful and the and the laundry services were easy to use. They also gave us new towels everyday. The location is perfect, very close to the train station and restaurants and a shopping mall.

Unfortunately, the onsen was not tattoo friendly. And because I have a lot of tattoos on my legs, it didn't seem worth it to patch all of them up, so I did not use it. I wish they were, I would have loved to use the onsen. However, this is the Japanese culture, so I understand.

The rooms were new and spacious. We absolutely loved the rooftop onsen. It was such a nice way to end the day. The onsen, sauna facilities were well maintained. We also enjoyed the free popsicles after our onsen. We also appreciated the laundromat facilities. Getting to Haneda Airport was a bus ride away too, only 5 minute walk from the station. We enjoyed our stayed immensely.

Breakfast was ok, we tried it once. We preferred to go to 7-11.

The beds were much too hard for me as a westerner. I wanted a second pillow but they were all out.

Staff was very friendly and made the extra effort to respond to requests quickly and efficiently. They were proactive in addressing potential issues. For example, when the lobby was very full and the wait for the elevators was long, they expedited guests getting access to the elevators quickly. We also really enjoyed the outdoor patio on the 15th floor, the complimentary ice cream, the nightly free ramen. Also having the 7-11 convenience store attached to the hotel made it easy and convenient to get needed supplies and snacks etc.

The rooms were very small and crowded - with the queen bed there was very little space left in room to maneuver - I understand that this is typical in Japanese hotel rooms but it made it challenging to relax in room without just getting in bed. There also was not sufficient space to store clothes during the stay so we ended up using the suitcases.

The location is fantastic, easy walking distance to several shopping areas and the train station. The attached convenience store is an added bonus you will appreciate. The breakfast buffet is delicious, providing traditional Japanese food as well as some western breakfast items.

This was our first experience with Dormy Inn, and if they're all like this I know where we're staying next time. My husband and I loved the rooftop baths (and post-bath ice cream), the late-night ramen bar and the cute pajamas in our room.We made use of the laundry, pants press and vending machines, too — all easy to use and efficient — and there was even a helpful note from the staff on what time you could view sunrise and possibly Mt. Fuji from the top floor. (I made it! It was too cloudy ? )Dormy Inn's Kawasaki location is also very centrally located — we were able to get toward Yokohama and Yokosuka or Tokyo with just a few minutes to the JR station.We ultimately paid a very reasonable fee for a late check-out, too. Overall, an exceptional experience that helped us recover after 1.5 weeks of constant traveling across Japan.

The location is not completely suited to "party at night in Tokyo." If you miss the last JR train to Kawasaki, a taxi from Shinjuku will cost about $100USD. ?
