Red Roof Inn Kamata / Haneda Tokyo

The bed was comfy enough and the location was pretty close to the station.

Black mold and the tiny toilet bowl. There was black mold in the ceiling fan that the staff tried to clean but missed the little crevasses. There were also some on the bathroom walls. There was also a sewer smell.

The location of the hotel was close to kamata station and made it easy to get to places I wanted to get too.

The room was smaller than expected and with the bathroom there was a smell if you didn't have the vent constantly on.

Just 15 minutes from the airport. Very clean and well set up and at $-- per room, a bargain. Very happy with our stay there. Extremely convenient and good amenities that you wouldn't normally find in a $--/night hotel room.

We had two rooms. In one of the rooms, the television was hanging parallel to the bed, meaning if you were laying down in bed, you really couldn't watch TV. Kind of a dumb setup. But the other room was ok.

Modern, updated room. Great bathroom and shower.

The bed was against the wall in the corner of the small room, so one person had a difficult time getting into and out of bed.

Hotel is walking distance from train station and nearby shopping. Enjoyed the room and staff very much

It was nice for the price. Good location and the staff was super friendly. Room was small but like I said very well priced.

Breakfast was not good enough. Consider improving the breakfast.

The breakfast is little snacks and lacks variety. I mean it is too little and so limited. A buffet type would help.

Room was good, clean, and had everything needed. Felt like good quality.Lobby had free coffee.

Hotel is next to a firestation, and there was also noise from the hallway. Had to use earplugs, but slept fine.Did not like the Kamata station area. not much there

I was honestly afraid if this hotel would be ok since I know what Red Roof look like in America (pretty much homeless camp)However this Japanese one is completely different. Super clean, not that small room for Japanese standard(still small but it's ok size for 2adult or 1 adult and 2kids)A bit less than 10min walk distance to JR kamata station, grocery store, laundromat, lots of affordable restaurants . This hotel is going to be my usual from next time again. Love it

It was little noisy in the middle of the night. Probably drunk young people but I didn't feel like dangerous or crime area. Still peaceful and no problem to walk outside alone

The rooms facing the front have poor sound blocking so hearing the fire truck daily and every other noise was fairly loud.

Mould on aircon we didnt use it because of that needs to replace filterMould on shower ceiling bothered me.

Staff very welcoming and friendly! Location is convenient, 7/11 2min walk, train station nearby! Complimentary breakfast breads & beverages. Clean, housekeeping available just make sure to use the signs on the door, available coin laundry machine.

Location was great with close proximity to the train station that took me right in to Tokyo and also went to Yokohama and Kamakura for day trips. The neighbourhood was quiet but had good food options and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Typical Japanese business hotel in one of the original neighborhoods of Tokyo that’s now a bit off the beaten track. Definitely not Shibuya, but very interesting nonetheless.

Lovely friendly staff,. comfortable bed and decent sized room with bottles of water, cotton buds, fresh towels etc added each day when bed made. Kamata station is only a 5 minute walk away and location was cheap with lots of shops and food places. Approx 25 mins into central Tokyo.Only one complaint is the room doors are not sound proofed so other residents in hallways and slamming doors was a bit of a downside.

Simple and decent

It is NOT convenient for Haneda Airport as it’s not near the right station at all. I had to walk nearly 20 mins in the rain with my luggage to get to the right station. “Breakfast” was two pastries and yogurt.
