Pan Pacific Suzhou

The service was excellent from check-in to check-out, with friendly and helpful staff. The hotel itself was also beautiful, and we appreciated the complimentary hotel access to the adjacent Panmen Scenic Area.

We came a day late for our reservation and the hotel staff was trying their best to make it so we wouldn't have to pay for the night we missed, they even offered us a complimentary christmas dinner! All the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Excellent, spacious room with great, well-maintained amenities, comfortable bed, great breakfast all of these for an unbeatable price. Highly recommended!

The property was connected to a scenic area and had unlimited access, the staff were kind and the place looked nice from the outside.

The rooms itself weren’t that clean. The bathroom water was very weak making it hard to shower. The room aircons didn’t work that well either.

Ultimate Suzhou experience, nice room and good breakfast. The garden is a must to visit.

A little far from other main tourist attractions.

The property was adjacent to the Pan men garden and I got a room overlooking the beautiful buildings of the garden! What a view! Also pretty close to all the tourist places!

Nothing to complain about the property but the hotel is so big that one could get lost! ?

The bed is great for sleep and good option. The hotel is quite dated but very popular hotel due to the panmen area is just next to it. However, there wasnt much activities at panmen during our stay. Crowded during breakfast time as the hotel is very popular. Good local delicacies were offered during breakfast timing. Laundry zone is free for hotel guest however it was very long queue and unorganized.

Gorgeous place to stay, obviously for the scenic views and the easy access to tourist locations. Extremely yummy noodle place hidden in the gardens, go eat their triple shrimp noodles!Had a cute coffee shop across called little souls, really recommend - we went everyday.

The hanfu service that is marketed as "free" comes with a lot of hidden charges - quickly goes from free to upwards of CNY500+ depending on what kind of clothes you pick, Fine to go, just be wary of upcharges and ask before each. Otherwise in general, be careful of taxi scammers in Suzhou too

The hotel itself feels like a work of art, with a beautiful garden to explore and interiors rich in Chinese cultural design. Not to mention, it’s right next to PanMen Garden, making the stay even more special. The room is spacious for a family of five and comes with two bathrooms, which is extremely convenient. It also includes a stove and fridge, adding to the comfort and practicality of our stay. Location wise, tourists spots are easily reached by car in 5-10 minutes time.There is also free chinese traditional clothes (hanfu) for renting.

More coined washing machine and dryers to be provided.

Too hot inside. Ventilation and AC did not work well! Views from balcony blocked by trees. It would have been great view of pagoda.

Gorgeous property. The hotel was beautiful, and the connected scenic area is so convenient. We took walks there frequently. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

The rooms were a little warm, thermostat wasn’t able to cool the room. But we came during autumn, when the AC is turned off, so makes sense. But unable to open windows very wide, so not a lot of control over temperature. They gave us a fan though :)

The Pan Pacific is located next to the Panmen garden and fortified fortress gate dating back to the Spring Autumn period in China history ~1200BC. Guests can access the garden and fortress gate for free. The Panmen gatden is illuminated at night.This is a large spread out hotel with many pretty Chinese gardens inside the hotel. The room is comfortable, bedding is very good. Breakfast is very good. We had 1 Chinese dinner in the hotel and it is decent. Wifi does not work, not in my room although we were using esims and hotspots, so we do not care. Note in China, many wifi services require registration using a China telephone number, most foreign tourists will not have it. Besides, social media access requires select working vpns. Rsimd are highly recommended.We stayed here 4 nights. The hotel is 2-3kms away from the Humble Administrator, the Lion Grove, and the Lingering gardens. We used Didi and each trip is just ~$2

The hotel needs to provide a detailed room map to guests. Internal walkways are very complex and one can get lost easily. There are 2 wings and they are not connected internally unless one goes thru the lobby or thru the many gardens.The main concern will be in emergencies. Most guests never check out the emergency exit paths.Staff needs to explain to guests upon check in on wifi, any signin passwords, etc.

I really liked the design, the cleanliness, the helpful staff and the location. Access to the park is great. It is a first class property and perfect in every way. The stay was most enjoyable.

There is nothing to dislike.

Great atmosphere. Great building structure. Its like living in the past but yet, the rooms are very updated, spacious, and comfortable. If I ever go back around Suzhou or Shanghai area. I rather stay here and take day trips to other cities (Shanghai) since only 30 minutes away by train.

It felt like a traditional Chinese hotel, but modern. . Very attractive. Many places to sit.
