- Towels (all of them! ) are quite worn, must be years and years old, bit like sandpaper.. Showerhead attachment hangs a bit loose after nearly 20 years. You need to maneuver a bit to stay under the water. Bathroom is clean though!
- The park next to the hotel has construction and is closed. It has nothing to do with the hotel. But it affects guests experience. Hope the construction is complete in a few months.

Excellent service, excellent food (the noodle served at buffet breakfast is surprisingly tasty) very good room service, will be my go to hotel next time in Suzhou
Everything was good about this hotel. Every single member of the staff is always very friendly and professional, what makes a stay very comfortable. In the evening, the restaurant/bar often are very good artist who sing live, makes the ambiente perfect for this location.

smoke smells in my room, it could be from other rooms but I hate itI am grateful for the dedicated staff, but the level of comfort provided by this hotel is way below my expectations.
