The bed was not comfortable and the AC was not efficient

built it VPN wifi which is really good for oversea travelers. Offered to bigger room for no extra charge. I am really enjoyed it. One thing I like the most the the built in bidet in toilet. The advance bidet with equipped with hot air dry to dry you after settle your thing.

Encountered very bad experience due to water leaking from hot/cold water supplying lines.

We encountered non stop water leaking from hot/cold water supplying lines in the toilet/Bath room. unable to use the toilet.The water was leaking from Hot/Cold water supplying lines. The Toilet/Bath room floor was covered by pool of leaking water. We contact the front desk, the technician was arranged, and the technician was arrived to our room at 35 floor after 30 minutes, to attend the water leaking problem. very bad experience.The technician fixed the problem about one hour, good technician.

Breakfast was good in general, especially the onsen egg (Japanese section) was very well done. Thank you to the young chef who was willing to make a new batch upon my request as I was late for breakfast.

The Shangri La is a bit dated, Air Cond unable to adjust to our liking so it was warm at night.

The hotel is nice and clean, the staff is very polite and ready to help.

The view was the construction so it wasn’t really pleasant to see.

First, I am not happy with the room price, when I was checking the room price on 5/1, it seems the price is only1400RMB, which means I paid more. And on 5/2 morning, the canteen was full of people and waiting for breakfast.

The facilities were really good. Gym, sauna steam room, swimming pool. The room was quite impressive at first glance, but in the end I was happy to leave.

I guess around ten years ago this was the best hotel in Suzhou. But suzhou has developed and this place has been left behind. Room decor now is old and tired. Random things like dudes in full karate gear randomly strolling around the gym, and people bringing food into the gym and leaving their rubbish behind. Mainly cause of the location of the hotel, in the not so nice part of the city, and maybe it’s open to public. Much better to stay in SIP, if someone from outside suzhou stayed here, they would probably be disappointed with the location. Oh, also little choice on room service menu.

The staff was amazing, helpful and welcoming. They showed no decrimination. ❤️Definitely using booking there again.

Excellent hotel. Conveniently located

there were no items for western visitors at the breakfast. You should offer cheese, cold cuts, western food as well.
