    Pros +

    • As is so often the case in Japan, you can tell that the staff have done everything possible to provide you with good accommodation. The room was clean, the view was fine.
    • Clean enough. Accommodating staff. We were there during October, they generously give out some candies/ snacks for those travel with kids.. Breakfast was ok. Location is good, there is Aeon, some restaurant, family mart down the road, Spacious free parking space. Overall is good.
    • It’s a reasonable and convenient place to stay if you’d like to visit the Spain Village. They give you a free ride to the place.

    Cons -

    • The air conditioning in the room is connected to a hotel-wide system. In this case, however, this means that it only heats you in the period defined as winter and only cools you in the period defined as summer. So if you are hoping for cooling and the general change to summer has not yet been completed...
    • The pillow is too soft for us.
    • The wi-fi wasn’t available at the room. The connection was too weak and too slow. It wasn’t possible to use the Internet at all, only from the lobby. The breakfast is average, I wish there would be some fresh fruit for that price.

A spacious room, relaxing spa, helpful staff and a great breakfast.

    10SherryPosted on: 7-16-2024

The staff were so helpful and friendly. Loved the massage chairs and breakfast was outstanding.

    5TravellingPosted on: 6-24-2024

The room was decent and fairly big. Available onsen (albeit nothing special), and free parking on site. Multiple restaurants in the immediate vicinity (which is useful, since the on-site hotel restaurant has apparently been closed for some time).

To start with, unmentioned in any of the information provided, there was a non-optional (and very loud) wake-up call at 7am, which was unpleasant and unwelcome. Apparently, the hotel thinks that the guests need to be awoken no later than 7am (despite check-out not being until 11am), regardless of what the guests think themselves. Seriously uncool. Then, one was forcibly thrown out of breakfast 15min before it was to be formally ended at 9am, when it arguably should be the other way around. In addition, the WiFi is abysmal, as if time travelling back to the late 90s speed-wise. Also, frequent noise from people doing noisy stuff during the nights and early morning. Other guests? Cleaners perhaps? Lastly, no member of staff could or wanted to speak English, so please be aware if your Japanese skills are lacking.

Breakfast was good. Room was comfortable. Near by family restaurants.

Great location , free parking, and all the necessary amenities, make this a great place to relax. The breakfast is sumptuous and free coffee is available in the lounge. The staff are very helpful and the free shuttle to the metro station is very convenient.

    Nothing really.

    8PaulPosted on: 4-14-2024

The breakfast was so good and really set us up for the day at Suzuka Circuit for the F1 Grand Prix.

As the hotel was used as a base for the reason for the trip we didn't have much interaction at the hotel, therefore nothing was bad. If I had to state one thing was only allowed one Key. You could even put the spare key on a different key ring that didn't work the electricity.

Onsen is ok. Breakfast is ok

Smoking bad smells still are big issue

Clean and spacious room with variety of food (breakfast)

A bit far from the centre

    9JudithPosted on: 10-20-2023

Large spacious room. Comfortable bed. Staff very helpful. Shuttle bus to train station. The breakfast was ok but there wasn’t a lot of choice of western food. But this is not unexpected in a Japanese hotel away from the main tourist areas.

The first room I was given smelt like cigarette smoke but the reception desk staff found me another room very quickly, coming to the first room with the key. The second room did not smell.

    9HyoriPosted on: 9-22-2023

public bath and good facilities. Shop was fine. Amenities are free to go

The nearest station is very local and country side one

    9NikolasPosted on: 6-25-2023

The common bath was great, even though quite hot (over 40C). Rooms were great. Hotel had ample vending machines.

Breakfast was just OK. Not many services close to hotel.

    6TomPosted on: 4-13-2023

    Pleasant

the water in the shower didn’t get hot when pointing this out to the staff at the front desk he just shrugged

    8LaurencePosted on: 12-29-2022

The bedrooms are better sized than average and very clean. The hotel is well situated for the town and station and there are plenty of places for families to eat nearby.

    It was fine for us.

    10husenPosted on: 12-4-2022

with the ceap price I have good service and great breakfast

in breakfast’s menu pork is too much?

    4JaninePosted on: 8-9-2022

The gift shop, the vending machines

After over one year in Japan this is my first bad review of a hotel. Even though we paid (a lot) for our rooms, both my friend and I were still charged extra fees to use the onsen. I don't understand if that was a mistake from the hotel's side or if this is the rule, but the room was very basic and then we pay more money to use the onsen? It doesn't make any sense to me. To make it even worse, the next day in the morning my friend and I went to have breakfast, which we were willing to pay for (in spite of everything) and then they told us that we couldn't eat there because we didn't reserve. But nobody told us we needed to reserve so, how come? This information was nowhere to be found. We checked out frustrated, disappointed, angry... and hungry. And the closest kombini is a 15 min walk (in the heat, etc). Expensive hotel and it doesn't give you anything in return, only a super basic room with hard mattress and hard pillow.

    7MichellePosted on: 5-2-2022

Can be easily seen from the Shima-Yokoyama train station. Good variety for breakfast.

Amenities in the room were quite old. Electric water kettle was old and there was no information whether the water from the tap is drinkable. Bath water temperature in the bathroom was unstable, as it suddenly get too hot or cold.

    8JonathanPosted on: 9-10-2021

Breakfast buffet was delicious. Proper COVID precautions were taken.

Got a call from the front desk around 11pm requesting that I present my taizai card at check out. Also, there did not seem to be enough parking spaces available. My family arrived by car and when we came back to the hotel after dinner we had to wait for someone to leave in order to park.
