Miyako Hotel Yokkaichi

Is a clean and convenient hotel. Good breakfast. Overall is very good.

Compared to our hotel in Tokyo this Hotel was so much more spacious. Admittedly the hotel is a little more dated however we still enjoyed our stay. Very close to the train station, shopping centre, super market and restaurants which was very convenient. Staff also very helpful assisting with getting a taxi for us to visit family in the neighbourhood.

I would say the only thing is that the rooms are a little dated - especially the bathroom where they use a shower curtain. We didn't pay for breakfast with our booking however we ended up paying extra to have the breakfast buffet as there were not many places open in the morning for breakfast. We loved the breakfast choices but the omelette making did take some time.

Room was spacious. Bed and pillow comfortable. Clean and tidy. Staff courteous. Free parking. Right in the centre. Surrounded by lots of restaurants and shops. Close to the station.

Limited choices in breakfast buffet. Food tray almost empty around 9am.

Good location. Well presented property, friendly staff and reasonably priced.

Air conditioning controls are next to the bed so not great to firstly and to keep the toddler away.

The checkin and overall presentation of the property is great - the room is clean and beds are good sized and comfortable.

Managing air condition for the room is challenging - especially with the room controls at toddler height next to bed.

Room cleanliness and the staff at the morning restaurant.

Reception is not so friendly.

We liked the convenient location from the station.

I wish breakfast was included to the price. There were many days we wanted to book but only smoking rooms were available. We recommend to decrease the number of smoking rooms to accommodate non smokers which there are more these days.

1. The room is spacious.2. There is shopping mall and super market nearby.3. The staff are very nice.

The location is right next to supermarket.

The unfriendly front desk staff. The room is too small.

Clean, convenient and polite staff. Great!

The hotel is centrally located to the Yokkaichi train station, mall shopping, grocery store, pharmacy, Starbucks (next door) and many restaurants! Across the street is a 24hr laundry mat which is super convenient and affordable! Wash/dry with detergent already included using one machine, love it! Hotel receptionist and staff are welcoming, kind and very helpful!

The Miyako Hotel is one of the best places to stay in Yokkaichi. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious compared to other hotels in Japan. The location next to Kintetsu Yokkaichi makes it a base to explore the city.

There wasn't really anything I didn't like. This hotel doesn't offer temperature control for the air con so in the winter you'll always have heat and in the summer you'll always have cooling. However, the room was comfortable enough and the staff explained this to us before checking in so we knew what to expect.

stay in April, AC was heating, really stuffy and hot in the room. otherwise fine for a short stay. staff provided a fan but not exactly 5 star.. very nice people tho.
