ITA TAIWAN INDIGENOUS CULTURAL RESORT

A great resort in Taitung with very spacious rooms and plenty of amenities. The breakfast is excellent, offering a good selection of local dishes. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the special wooden carvings and sculptures throughout the property create a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Not that much

A lovely property with large clean, comfortable, quiet rooms. Good location across from the park. There is a convenience store a short walk away with a fabulous teppanyaki restaurant next door. The decor of the hotel is beautiful and thought provoking. The breakfast is amazing. This would definitely be my go to place should I be in the area again.

Pleasant atmosphere. Staff approachable. Rooms unfussy, clean, and comfortable. Will change breakfast options if you ask.

The from 4pm check in is non negotiable

The hotel is interesting with lots of cultural pieces to look at (though no explanation of the significance of anything). The room was clean enough and comfy enough. The location was decent right next to a big park. The breakfast was very nice!

I was expecting a bit more given that it is called a resort, but there was no show or any kind of explanation as to what the cultural artifacts were. The staff were okay but not super warm or welcoming. The location is a bit far from the main station and town, and when we came on a Monday almost everything is closed. The toilet says not to flush anything and we were uncomfortable with not being able to flush toilet paper in our room's toilet.

Everything was great except that there was not hand soap or a place to hang wet towels. The staff were also very kind in helping us navigate the local buses and gave us directions and tips on navigating the harbor and ferry. They also let us store our luggage there post check out as needed. Breakfast was great too!

Great hotel to bring you closer to the indigenous culture. It is close enough to the city center as well as close to the main road that leads you out of the city. Personnel were very polite. They also have a sustainable policy in place which I liked. Beautiful place. Receptionist spoke english.

there is no official parking but there are parking spaces in front of the hotel. of course the staffs are very kind and nice!

Aboriginal style building and decor, next to the Taitung forest park. Wonderful local produce and varieties in the breakfast served.

Breakfast has clear labels as vegan, vegetarian or with meat. More local breakfast options.

Didn't feel like a resort. I could have more facilities, such as, kids room, play area, spa, garden restaurent and could include western food options.

The design of the hotel is cool with an indigenius Taiwanese style. The staff was very friendly even though they only spoke Chinese (which we didn't realize when booking). The breakfast was very good and varied with a wide selection of warm foods, fruits and vegetables. On Sundays, a night market is closeby.

The location is OK. It's better to have a car or you will need a taxi if you want to go to city center. A military base is closeby - during the week many fighter jets fly very low above the hotel (and Taitung in general).

The room was simple, but it was clean and bright. We enjoyed the breakfast, which, once again, while fairly simple, was light and refreshing (it was mostly vegetarian, with a variety of fresh or lightly cooked vegetables and fruits; there was also omelette and fish available). There is a huge park right next to the hotel, and it is highly recommended (epecially around sunrise!).

The "parking lot" could be a little larger :)

The location is really nice, just next to the Taitung Forest Park. You can directly visit this beautiful park by walking. It's also close to the Taitung Hakka School, a Japanese old style building. It's also close to the beach. If you are a runner, it's nice to run to the beach from the hotel, not far. If you aim to visit these places, it is an option for you. However, the hotel is quite economic. You have to bring your own toothbrush.

The location was great, it is near the Taitung forest park. It has parking space. Nice decor at the entrance lobby.

A bit run-down. Walls and carpets in the room need cleaning or refurbishing.
