Restaurant is slow in serving

We tried something different each of the seven days that we stayed at the star plaza. The food was excellent except when the chef prepares the eggs he needs a little practice on over easy. The weight staff was extremely friendly and very helpful to us.

When two people are ordering breakfast they should be served at the same time not individually as i am a custom to in the united states. Out of 14 breakfast to with a times the food was a little to cool. Overall our stay was very satisfying and i would love to come back because of your friendly staff

Nice location. In walking distance to several malls.Had hot running showers. Nice sized balcony.Working television.Staff was friendly and quick to respond to any of our needs.Nice venue for parties and weddings.The area reserved was nice and fit the needs of the event. The food at the wedding was very good and the workers were courteous and professional.

No pool, gym. Charged money for small bucket of ice.The complimentary breakfast was very limited. Had to order from regular menu to get a decent fulfilling breakfast.Rooms and windows are not soundproof. Can hear all the outside traffic with their horns blowing and hear whoever was walking through the hallways.Bathroom was not clean. Mold and hair was found on the bath mat. Top of the mini fridge looked like it hadn’t been dusted or wiped clean in months.No outside furniture to sit on the balcony.

Accessible to restaurants and stores. The staffs were amicable, courteous and accommodating.

Parking space is very limited. Workers are still working until midnight. The noise was loud and inconvenient.

The friendly staff, comfy beds, and location is great! In summary; it's a decent hotel if you want a good location in Dagupan.

A bit pricer than other hotels. The dislikes we had was that the more expensive rooms didn't have a smart TV but the cheaper ones did for some reason, and the WiFi connection was very unstable or slow. Overall it's the price for us that we didn't like.

I like the food, didn’t disappoint me and my husband.

(1) The water is a brownish like rust color, and (2) the time of breakfast should be atleast an hour earlier especially for us who has earlier business to attend to, and kaya siguro ganun na rin kacrowded tapos tumatagal na yung waiting time to serve the food. (3) Dapat per guest room may meal plan each day na sila (to call nalang yung guest kung papaprepare na) para maserve nalang din agad yung food.

BREAKFAST WAS GOOD, SOME SERVERS LACKED PROPER TRAINING IN SERVICE FOR CUSTOMERS REQUIREMENTS.I would order tea and a teapot was brought to the table....but no cream or sugar.

service at breakfast, servers very young and would congregate in one spot and discuss the previous nights happenings...loudly. Not the best scenario...also a few of the tables were unstable, small factors like this need addressingotherwise a very pleasant stay.

The staff were very accommodating. Rooms are clean and mostly updated. Value for money is good.

Star plaza is an older hotel that is located right on a busy and noisy street. It is also next to a river that has gotten worst since my last stay there 20 years ago. It was hard to stay on the balcony because of the smell. The water coming out of the bathroom faucet smelled and is definitely not suitable to drinking. The water pressure is low on the shower. Breakfast menu needs to be revised to give more options to pick from and not have the same exact things every morning. The AC was not strong enough that I had to borrow a fan for the whole stay. Sometimes the front desk would answer and sometimes they don't. Honestly if not for convenience of where the wedding would be, I would never stay in this hotel again.

I loved the river view and convenient location. The breakfast, although not all you can eat buffet style, had a good choice menu options and the food was delicious and ample portions,

Very old facilities that felt dirty in areas like the bathroom. Breakfast was mediocre and the air conditioning was very noisy.

They serve my favorite breakfast but not a whole lot of variety for the FREE breakfast menu. I wish, there's more variety.

i didn't like the steep front stairs leading to the entrance. It's a little bit too steep with high rise plight of stairs. It's hard for older customers.

My bed had bed bugs and ants. I raised the issue with reception and they could not issue a refund. Poor customer service.

The Concierge and the Housekeeping are very courteous and polite.

This hotel may not be worthy to be used as an accommodation but perhaps you can only consider you just want food and entertainment purposes; otherwise, it is not highly recommended to stay in the hotel as the price or value for money of Star Plaza vs The Monarch Calasiao, I will go with Monarch as it is worth your every single centavo. Reality vs Expectation: The pictures in the website are totally different in person. The room is way too small and you only have a space for 1 person to move around and the room kind of smells. The river view is not enticing as it should be. The receptionist is not very welcoming plus we check in late due to working late hours at perhaps around 11pm and yet when we request for just a little bit of late check out of around 1pm, we were told that we must leave the room latest at 12:45pm otherwise we will be charged according to the receptionist who sounded skeptic, this is the first time we experienced this kind of accommodation in all of the places we've booked in Pangasinan area. Also, the water is shower and sink water is yellowish. Therefore, staying in Star Plaza is totally not worth it.

The room was decent and the bathroom was large. Staff responded to problems.

The street noise was loud. Very thin windows The Wi-Fi was terrible. It kept dropping and we had to call because nobody in the room could get a signal The food choices in the restaurant are very limited and below average. We had four people in the room and they tried to weasel out of providing breakfast for everyone.

Liked the cleanliness. Food was very good and staff friendly.

When we changed rooms, should have received a credit for the difference but they wouldn’t give nor give a voucher for the amount we lost.
